He was then made captain for season 04/05 with alex rae as vice. Klos was then injured late january, and as rae wasnt starting Ricksen was made captain for the rest of the season. Always felt Klos should have lifted the spl trophy with ricksen as he was captain and brilliant for the majority of the season. Was probably his own choice not to though. Was probably his own choice not to though.So too clarify the only officially appointed club captains who were foreign were: AMORUSO, MOORE, KLOS....and actually many will forget Mccoist made BOCANEGRA captain at the start of the 2012-13 campaign.Couldnt say if LAUDRUP was officially a captain or not, not sure on that one. Klos wore it more that season though because moore was injured a lot. Then Klos was appointed captain the following year. Ricksen was never appointed club captain he was a stand in for Klos/Rae.
