Jimfanciesthedude 24,778 Posted September 10, 2016 Share Posted September 10, 2016 Some younger bears might not remember it, however it was a sign of things to come and boy did we take years to fix it Rangers won the league previously, had a settled squad with only a couple of summer changes, we had a manager that liked to play nice fancy attacking football The tarriers recruited a new manager and went all in, they spent big in the summer Start of the season rangers are wobbly, our defence is brutal at times and we struggle, meanwhile that mob are beating teams easy Cue first old firm game at parkhead, thumped 6-2, defender subbed off for having a mare and a man sent off, season went tits up from there and it took us another 2 seasons to sort it out (thank you alex mcleish) The current board cannot let that happen again, they have seen the tarriers game plan, spend big and hog the future revenues, we need to match that or we could be in the shadows for longer than a couple of seasons Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
