I think the rivalry with Aberdeen is a little overblown in the media to be honest, a lot of those who go to the games now aren't old enough to remember the Durrant-Simpson incident. It was only 20 years ago mate - not 50! Im only 34 and i remember it plenty well. Cant see the problem buying aberdeen players - but they dont have anyone I would want. I was watching an interview with Davie Robertson on Rangers TV recently and he said that when he moved, he got some serious abuse from the Aberdeen fans - at first anyway - when we played them. Even death threats. I know we bought Stephen Wright and Theo Snelders after Davie but would you be fine with us signing an Aberdeen player nowadays? Aye, theyre all pish! 2-0, ROON YE!
