RANGERS will break new ground tonight by being the first club to gain permission to have their band play during the League Cup semi-final clash against Hearts. The Band, who will be amongst the Gers' support in the West Stand, are usually situated in The Broomloan Road Front stand behind the Blue Order on every matchday at Ibrox. They started up six years ago and are the only ones to have played at every home game at Ibrox and never kicked a ball! The personnel has changed slightly during this time, however, there are still three of the original seven members remaining. They are Iain Sandilands (snare drum), and brothers Gregor (Trombone) and Rory Stewart (trumpet).
