pcbear 10,924
Any more mature bears remember them? They were called the rover, basically it had no seat number on it, you could sit in any seat in any stand except the main stand, how good was that. southdown 0
What year was that? Around 1958 it was one shilling and sixpence(about 20 pence) for a 1st. team game and ninepence for the reserves. I lived in Govan and it was just a ten minute walk to Ibrox.

Thermopylae 15,287
I think the Govan Rear rover ticket for the first Souness season was about £40. Unfortunately the rot started after that when Freddie Fletcher invented The Premier Club ... which of course wasn't a club at all
Gaffbear 4,101
I'm sure season 86/87 was £45 approx. Remember my mate saying once Souness arrived that we should get a season ticket. Before then we used to pay at the gate at all games except Euro and Celtic games..... Boys gate at £1.50 to get in. ah memories

I'm sure that 4-1 defeat was 1984 I had chickenpox at the time and only my mate would stand next to me in the enclosure. That's how i remember. I was wearing my favourite ever Rangers top....the V neck with white pin stripe. Wasn't during 9iar it was the time of North East domination with the beggars throwing 1 or 2 in.
