thats a relief...

Weir may even travel to Tuscany tomorrow with Walter Smith's squad but only so the medical team can continue his treatment around the clock as they attempt to get him ready for a gruelling run-in towards a possible quadruple.

Davis, though, has been passed fit despite hobbling away from Parkhead at the weekend. It's believed the Northern Ireland captain suffered nothing more serious than cramps during Celtic's 3-2 victory.

Smith has been told the on-loan Fulham star will be fully fit for a match that could see Rangers make it through to a European final for the first time in 36 years.

Another of the Ibrox boss's midfield options, Charlie Adam, is also on his way back after more than a month on the sidelines due to a knee injury. The player saw a specialist yesterday for one final check-up and is expected to return to full training this week.

Finally we can get someone bak on the left. SkySportNews said that Adam could play on thursday!, am thinking they got davies and adam mixed up maybe?

Fitness doesn't bother Adam anyway in any game, so wouldn't be a problem :craphead:

Nice to see SD is back, but we need Weir back I'm afraid!!

Great news SB. Also about Davie. When he came off, I thought it was an out-for-the-rest-of-the-season job.

Any news on L.McC?

not sure about big Lee...wish we'd had in on Sunday to put himself about

Whittaker would actually play before him for me now after that first half he had on Sunday! And Whittaker's naw that great either tbh but he done more than Lee normally does!

You'd seriously play a RB playing as a stop gap LM ahead of McCulloch?

I know you dislike him, but thats just stupidity IMO.

Aye, the choosing of a poor pair.

But because Whittaker put in a good few balls, took the man on and played well in that first half.

Its always nice to see the midfielder create something, Whittaker did that. McCulloch usually doesn't.

I however would rather have neither.

Never thot i'd say this but here goes, It would be great to have charlie adam back in the team. really are missing a left sided midfielder at the mo. if what we're hearing is true then get him good half an hour on sunday against hibs n if the half decent charlie turns up then his set plays could be vital.
