I got offered tickets1300 for 2 and 1400 for 2 on here yesterday

And that is why we did put the warning up, and it was at the members own risk, even if it wasn't on here people were getting charged up to £2000 on the streets of Manchester for a ticket so it happens anywhere.

Also a lot of members wanted all opportunities to get tickets that were available to them.

At this moment in time, i'm not the least bit suprised by the actions of certin rangers fans, they never learn.

all we need now is for them to belt out billy boys to top it off.

Oh you can be sure there are plenty of tims down there stirring ... just as there are on here

It's because of Manchester Council's incompetance (td)

Fucking cant even switch a tv screen on

Guy has just been on the radio saying that the screen had been on all day but was switched of a couple of minutes before kick off, and the reason given was health and safety because there were too many people there. He said that all he saw of the game for his trouble was the last 10 mins in a Ladbrokes which means football fans from Manchester had better look closer to home before they start criticising foreign police and organisation of football matches

Just watched BBC NEWS 24 and the reporter said the fans had been well behaved apart from a few incidents because the big screen had failed,he said that the vast majority of the Rangers fans had been on there best behaviour .ITV on the other hand were trying to make a story out of nothing ,30 arrests out of 120 0000 not much to moan about .Rangers fans can be proud ot themself ,they showed that WE ARE THE PEOPLE bring on the treble .

Just got back in, walked a fair distance through the city center and even though their was an atmosphere. Most of the people I met were in good spirits and singing songs the rest were walking to the station or back to hotels. I did see an incident with the police but it was bravado shite from drunken arses, I didnt even notice them and im sober, I walked right through it and wondered why everyone was looking in my direction  turned back and their where a few riot police taking stick from drunks. Ive experienced worse every week in Greenock when I was growing up.

Bottom line, more than 20,000 Bears left without access to the game, a few drunken idiots but the vast majority were impeccably behaved in what was a MONUMENTAL BALLS US from the manchester organisers.

A big well done to the majority of Bears who behaved and I hope the minority that caused trouble will be arrested and dealt with to the full extent of British law.

VIOLENT clashes between police and Rangers fans cast a shadow over Manchester's world-recording breaking UEFA cup party.

An estimated 200,000 Scottish supporters had turned the streets into a sea of blue ahead of their team's two-nil defeat to Russian side Zenit St Petersburg at the City of Manchester stadium.

But troubled flared after a technical fault meant 10,000 fans gathered at Piccadilly Gardens to watch the match on a huge screen were left with no picture.

The council arranged for emergency buses to ship them off to a reserve screen that had been set up at the Velodrome, just a few hundred yards from the stadium.

Thousands of angry fans began flooding out of the Gardens - and violence erupted when a small number began hurling bottles and cans at police forming a cordon on Oldham Street.

The police called for reinforcements as around 200 Rangers supporters intent on causing trouble rushed to the scene and began hurling abuse.

Around 60 officers with riot shields launched around a dozen baton charges to force the group back towards the Gardens. Meanwhile police and fans had running clashes on Market Street as bottles were hurled at officers trying to calm the crowd.

Elsewhere there were reports of cars being overturned, while six people were arrested after a Zenit fan was stabbed outside the stadium. The fan's injuries were not thought to be life threatening.

Safety

By 9.30pm ambulances were no longer being sent into the city centre unless accompanied by a police escort that could take them directly to Accident and Emergency.

A spokeswoman for the Ambulance Service said the decision had been taken to protect `the safety of crews'. The accident and emergency department at Manchester Royal Infirmary was kept `very busy' with a constant stream of walking wounded or drunk.

A police spokesman said: "Thirty people have been arrested in total.

"Six of those were arrested in connection with the stabbing of a Russian fan at the stadium. His condition is not thought to be life threatening.

"We have been working to bring the disorder at Piccadilly under control promptly and speedily but a number of police officers have been injured in doing so. There have been isolated spats around the city centre.

"Four of the arrests have been for ticket touting."

The scenes came after a day in which the 200,000 Rangers fans had mingled with the 14,000 from Russia in balmy summer sun - with virtually no trouble.

Failed

Only eight arrests had been made before the big screen at Piccadilly Gardens failed as kick-off approached at 7.45pm.

Police were at that point praising the supporters for being "largely well-behaved and extremely good-natured".

Officers had taken a pragmatic approach to fans drinking alcohol on the streets of Manchester from as early as 6am. By 6pm, a number of city-centre pubs were reporting that they had run out of beer altogether.

Dozens of street cleaners were due to be deployed at midnight for a round-the-clock clean-up of rubbish piling up in gutters across the city.

Witnesses said thousands of fans at the other screens in the city - at fan zones in Cathedral Gardens and Albert Square - had sung and chanted in high spirit throughout the match.

Worst things happen at sea(believe me) Because a TV broke down NO reason to to become aggressive (WE HOLD THE BANNER) things like this happen I thought we would have had the decourm to lift ourself above this. I know feelings are running high just now BUT TO BLAME THAT ON A TV BREAKING DOWN AS AN EXCUSE TO THE VOILENCE IS UNACCEPABLE, we will be held accountable for our actions WE ARE GOD FEARING PEOPLE yes perhaps it was a bit heavy handed by the cops I hope we go on now and win the treble thay will do it :unionflag:

We should publish the addresses of the pricks that are arrested for violence in Manchester.

We don't need these cunts following our team.

We should publish the address of the touts that were selling tickets on this site also

Don't know anything about touts on here.

But if there were touts on here then I agree. It shouldn't have happened.

Why do you think that part of the site was pre-modded and why members were told to deal directly with anyone who was selling tickets, and anyone who bought tickets for whatever value it was purely their choice and a personal agreement.

Those that were clearly scamming artists were removed.

To be honest mate, I knew I wasn't going to the game so I never looked at that part of the site.

Snoopyboymason seems to think there was a problem though. Sounds as though he got mugged.

You would like that but no cunt mugs me

Get a fucking life ya prick.

I never suggested anything of the sort. I was stating that you may have been caught up in the sale of tickets for an increased price. (Touting) doh

You really want to calm down a bit mate.
