GrandSuckMaster 1,775
do you think this would have happened? The casuals would have been unable to travel and so many part time (if you can even call them that) fans would not have gone. The game being in Manchester was allways a recipe for disaster. disgruntled_bear 157
It wouldn't have happened if it was abroad! If Old Trafford was opened this might have been avoided too
ChrisVanDarche 23
It wouldn't have happened as casuals from other clubs wouldn't have went, and the scum element in our support wouldn't have been able to afford it.
ScotBear 144
No way this would have happened. I realise the sheer numbers down in Manchester played a part, but in 18 other european games this season we've had no arrests and no reports of violent behaviour. As others have said, the scum element and casuals would not have travelled abroad, as has been the case all season.
craigeee 60
Definetly not, It wasn't just casuals involved in the fighting....the amount of wee neds there was embarassing. They would never shell out £500+ for rangers.... but when it comes to a relatively inexpensive drive down south they all come out the woodwork.
