PORTGER 7
14th May 2008. A day I will never forget. So many bears all in one place. What a sight. We all thought that this was the start of something big. How wrong we were. We should have pushed ahead and made the signing that got us into the champions league and hopefully got us the title. We should have put pressure on the mhanks by doing this but in the 3 months since that historic day we are in a situation as bad as the PLG days or even before Mr Souness and it is feckin heartbreaking. Only 3 men I blame. Mr Murray, Mr Bain and Mr Smith. Hang your heads in shame.
WATP52 0
Fergie said we couldn't make the same mistake that celtic made by not strengthening. Well we haven't strengthened at all and sold our best player. At least Celtic did not sell Larsson immediately after the final......
scott316 2
totally agree with you mate. we lost that UEFA Cup final because of Smith's poor team selection and poor tactics. Nacho Novo was a massive inform player and he seen fit to drop Novo when when his ability to hold up the ball and eagerness to get past a man to create some space was vital against a team that would always have more of the ball. Murray has been guilty of not providing the war chest, Smith has spent poorly and his tactics are deplorable against teams Rangers should show no respect to. What is happening to Rangers ? These are men who would lead you to believe they care, well they aint showing it. If the club is in your blood like you say it is, do something about it and dont be stubborn to stick by what clearly isnt working !!!!
