I agree with the OP here. Historically we have done deals discreetly unlike others from across the city who love to make everything public. I feel doing things quietly, at least in the transfer market, is the right way to do things.

The show has highlighted that we should give these boys a total education while they are with us. They should have a full education, and be taught about football. I would take him back. He was going out of contract and wasn't sure what the financial situation was, so moved on, can't really fault him for that. He was a great servant to the club, and he could more than do a job for us again.

I agree with your summation on how it should have went, but I think that he's just made a poorly worded statement, whilst trying to sell himself to the Brum fans. I say that with tinted specs though, as he was my hero when I was growing up.
