I think if we went in at League 2 level, we would win League 2, then League 1 the following season, by a considerable distance if we managed to retain most of our squad. I don't think that many would leave, as I'm sure Mr Whyte could get the players new contracts with release clauses to do with failing to get promotion etc etc. I reckon after our back to back league wins, we would have whipped up enough interest and general publicity to attract EPL standard players to the club, and with our increased TV revenue and gate revenue, could assemble a squad capable of winning promotion in our first season in the Championship, and if not definately in the 2nd season. With us then in the EPL, the stature and name of the club, coupled with finances now superior to most EPL teams, would see us build a team capable of at least a top 8 finish in our first season. After that, the sky would be the limit.
