  1. I'm hearing from a fairly good source that miller will be announced tomorrow
  2. Personally I don't see anything in him, I don't buy this "he's only 19" pish. A 19 year old boy should still be able to control a ball! He makes duries touch look like a work of art, he doesn't make any intelligent runs off the ball, his crossing and corner kicks are woeful and for somebody with so called blistering pace I really can't remember him skinning a full back and getting in behind the defence. Was he even an afterthought for young player of the year in the division? A poor player in my opinion
  3. Fraser Aird is not good enough to be playing at that level never mind playing with rangers, however I believe the blame lies solely with McCoist. His team selection yesterday was shocking! Hutton and smith how these two started the game is beyond me. One up front in a lower league cup final against Raith is completely unacceptable, he constantly plays guys out of position when he has suitable players to chose in those positions. Take smith and Wallace for example, wallace is arguably our most attacking player yet he plays him BEHIND smith who is a bog standard left back. Next it's nick law can anybody tell me where ally plays him cos he is never in the middle of the park nor is he ever linking up with daly. We have two centre halves who think they are Beckenbauer and koeman who ultimately between the two of them caused the goal yesterday. We are too slow in the build up, too many underhit square balls across midfield are the result of two wide players who don't have a clue how to make runs off the ball. It's a heartache to say but mccoist has to move on in order for us to move on.
  4. Personally I don't think he ever has or ever will be good enough for rangers, his first touch is scandalous he has zero movement off the ball and his crossing is embarrassing to be honest. People will say he's only young but since we have been in the lower leagues we have been playing against a lot of boys of similar age and some of these lads look like they have more about them than aird
  5. Van bronckhorst for me and then pretty much all the Dutch boys
  6. Faure is arguably one of the worst players I have ever seen in a rangers team, his reading of the game is shocking, his passing is scandalous and he has no pace. I rate him with the likes of oliver Bernard, franny Jeffers or egil ostenstat.
  7. Goram or klos, klos or Goram doesn't matter to me which order you put them I personally can't separate them. It's true we have had top quality keepers at rangers but for me these two are head and shoulders above the rest. I remember growing up listening to the old firm games on the radio and it would be wave upon wave of Celtic attacks on our goal but come 4:45 the game would be over. 1-0 rangers, Goram at his best again. It even led to that famous line from Mr Burns. I'll never forget those days. Stefan klos arrived to replace the goalie and I couldn't believe we had managed to sign him, I couldn't think of a better replacement at the time and still can't think of one now. Remember the game he had at the glitterdome? It was a ploughfield, pissing down and again wave after wave of Celtic attack but again they hit a brick wall.1-0 rangers. In my opinion no keeper before or since come close to these two legends.
  8. HEROES! The very word alone sends images to our brains, some will instantly think of Struth or Greig others will think of Cooper or Johnstone, my heroes are Mccoist, Laudrup, Gough etc and the younger lads will remember Prso, Novo or Weir. Unfortunately these greats fall a little short when it comes to Mr Harold Jellicoe Percival, you see this particular hero is a ww2 veteran who just passed away last week. He had no family, no relatives not even a single friend. He was to be laid to rest alone until a facebook campaign has instigated hundreds to attend his funeral, fittingly this man will be buried on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month 2013 so wherever you are tonight please raise your glass or spare a moment of thought to a true hero. Mr Harold Jellicoe Percival. Sleep tight sir
  9. My top three ......1- Mccoist against Leeds 2-McCulloch v the beggars 3- de Boer v the beggars. McCullochs and de Boers goals silencing the glitterdome were priceless
  10. The drive down to manchester was surreal, left at six in the morning and it was like rush hour traffic with union jacks from every car. After getting to our digs in Wigan we set on our train journey to Piccadilly station, the people commuting to work on the train couldn't believe what they were seeing! The locals had the mobiles out filming as the train was bouncing down the track full of bears singing and bouncing. The sea of blue as we entered Piccadilly station made the hair on my neck stand up, everywhere you looked as far as you could see, from every direction there was thousands of bears. It was only 11 am. Unfortunately we chose Piccadilly gardens as our destination to watch our moment of history,to this day I still haven't seen the game, I have it recorded but can't bring myself to watch it. The thing that hurts me the most is that I will never know what it was like to watch Barry Ferguson lead my team out onto that pitch at that moment. Man that fucking hurts!
  11. That's the very game! Do you remember McCoists goal from the edge of the box
  12. Does anyone remember the hat trick McCoist scored in a game against falkirk about 1992? We won 4-1 with mikhailachenko scoring the other goal. McCoist scored one of the best goals I have ever seen that day and there was no cameras at the game
  13. Mark hateley's top against the sheep last day of the 91 season.
