Classic Smith was 4-1-4-1 away in Europe. Sterling in front of the back 4 would work, but you would need to work out who to play in the midfield 4 instead. Raskin was v poor on Saturday EDIT : I gather McCausland is fit, so put him on RW and let Dessers run himself out with Silva to replace him

Plenty of comments here during the first half on Wednesday. Those changes didn't work and he had to hook 3 players by early in the second half Personally, I'm not going to overly criticise as I can see why he's doing it but not playing our strongest line up away to Kilmarnock, probably our second toughest away match in the league, didn't make sense to me

I was a bit surprised he wasn't dropped back to allow Lawrence to be the 10. I don't see Diomande as a no 10 - he's a box to box midfielder and, despite a pretty poor game (one fabulous turn aside) yesterday, I still think he's got loads of potential

I'm not a massive fan of Goldson, but I don't think either Balogun or Souttar are actually better. This is, fundamentally, the problem - he IS our best defender. And yet...

We just need to put this weekend behind us and concentrate on getting max points against Dundee and Hibs so we go into the game on 7th April on top. Hopefully we'll have a couple back by then and be looking stronger
