It was more based on his second half performance. Lots of energy, helped out the defence, hardly a misplaced pass, unlike many others. Thought he was the classiest player in the second half. But, Souttar had a good game overall.

Thought Lundstram was equally decent tonight, but Souttar probably just edged it.

Dreadful. Instead of a go at them, some very quickly ended up in them attacking us. There were so many off the pace or urgency tonight though, he was one of many. Tough choice. Terry Butcher just edges it for me. I prefer a warrior player. He was that warrior. Richard Gough was the classier player though. Both legends.

Needs a right good game plan to win against PSV. Its doable if we have 11 warriors on the park. However, he'd better have a plan on winning virtually every game in the league. The tims are weakened without jota. PSV are an upgrade on Servette, but if Raskin and Cantwell, can show the quality that they did against Servette, and inspire the rest of the team to their optimum, then we've every chance. Soutter has been a very astute signing, as long as he keeps fit. Cantwell was my man of the match easily. Dynamic going forward, never hid from challenges, was cute at winning free kicks. He was outstanding. The whole team came out in the second half looking to win the match. Its a team game, but sometimes you have to pick a motm, and Cantwell was mine.
