Agree Souttar had a v good game
It was more based on his second half performance. Lots of energy, helped out the defence, hardly a misplaced pass, unlike many others. Thought he was the classiest player in the second half. But, Souttar had a good game overall.

Not the worst player ever, but Shankland is easily head and shoulders. Should have tempted Hearts resolve with at least a 2 million offer in the last window.

Dreadful. Instead of a go at them, some very quickly ended up in them attacking us. There were so many off the pace or urgency tonight though, he was one of many. Benfica weren't brilliant, just good at what they did. I wanted to rush on the park at one point and grab our Silva at one point, lead him off the pitch to be subbed, not the only one though.

Great advice, I was given just over a year and a half ago now, when my wife passed with cancer, was try not to change what you can help for at least the first year. Take your time mate, go through the stages of grief, and be respectful at all times, it has helped me a lot. You'll never be the same person again, but being grateful for the time spent together, and respect always is a good thing. You have my utmost sincere empathy. If you ever want to speak to a stranger about it, don't hesitate to post me. God Bless.

After the result against Servette, despite expected secondary players being played, I was one of those that thought the bookies would be a good shout at 5 or 6 nil. Just shows, expect the unexpected sometimes. Just glad to be through to the next round.

Needs a right good game plan to win against PSV. Its doable if we have 11 warriors on the park. However, he'd better have a plan on winning virtually every game in the league. The tims are weakened without jota. PSV are an upgrade on Servette, but if Raskin and Cantwell, can show the quality that they did against Servette, and inspire the rest of the team to their optimum, then we've every chance. Thought Goldson stood out well also. The league is the priority, but there's the opportunity to progress against a team that expects to steam roller us. Over to you Beale.

I actually think we played some very good football for a lot of the time, though, a lot of things didnt come off - especially in the final third. We had some good ideas. Some of the play in midfield was very good.. Souttar was very good. Butland was very good. More cohesion in the final third and we would have absolutely destroyed them. We should have done much better for their goal.
Soutter has been a very astute signing, as long as he keeps fit. Cantwell was my man of the match easily. Dynamic going forward, never hid from challenges, was cute at winning free kicks. He was outstanding. The whole team came out in the second half looking to win the match. Its a team game, but sometimes you have to pick a motm, and Cantwell was mine.
