I would think that anybody who had put up with the character assassination he has in the press and indeed by some Rangers fans, would want to try and put their side of the story.

Barry also also says he would never think he is bigger than Rangers and does not look on it as a victory that he is still there and PLG has gone. He says that if caring too much for the team is a crime then he is guilty of that. We should all be grateful for having such a good player and captain who only wants what is best for Rangers. <bouncy>

I think this is the main reason Burky did not sign before. Like most wingers he can be inconsistent but I would hate to see him leave.

I always thought football was a team game with 11 a side, surely it if all the other players were doing what they were told by PLG then the team would have won more games. Most of the games I have seen this season Barry has been man of the match, whether he was playing back, forward or middle. In other words I am getting a little annoyed with this line of reasoning, the only person that got PLG the sack was himself, and saying that I wish him well in his new job with PSG. End of rant !!!!!

I think you have got that just right, I also thought Barry was man of the match today. Also great to see McCoist at the touch line more oftain in the first 30 minutes than PLG did in seven months.

I think Barry is being hung out to dry by people who for some reason do not like him, we all have our favourite players but I have never disliked a Rangers player, especially one who loves the club like Barry does. One of the first thing that made me concerned about PLG was way back in September when he started to saying that Boyd was not doing enough for the team, and ignored the fact he was scoring goals for us. If he keeps scoring the way he is doing at the moment he will do for me whether he runs around all over the place or not. I am not saying he cannot improve his game but scoring goals is what the game is all about FFS.

I think most of the bad things being said about Barry & Boydy is pish. I do not believe Barry was or would try and hurt Rangers, maybr more people should read his book !!

Why should we get rid of our best player, do not believe all the pish you read in the papers about Barry being the reason why PLG got the boot. I think PLG managed that just fine by himself !! B)

While I agree with you about doing a job for Scotland & Rangers, I do not understand this thing about dealing with Barry !! they all seem to deal with Barry just fine when they are together with Scotland. Barry does not need to be dealt with in my opinion it was just him not coping with the pish some of his team mates playing and the cultural problems between him & PLG. <_<

I for one would welcome Ally, he has to start somewhere so why not at the top. While experience means a lot, I think after the disaster of PLG we need a real Rangers man so bring on Super Ally
