It's up to Whyte at the end of the day, It's all well and good us saying that because of his contribution to Rangers as a player he should have a role at the club - but i'm pretty sure after spending that kind of cash Whyte is going to be making sure that every single penny is spent wisely. I wouldn't imagine he's going to pay out a large salary from his own pocket to someone on the back of their playing career and status unless they can back it up with reasons why he's worth keeping.
