ive never been to an important away trip in apart from manchester. my best was pre season friendlies when i was about 16 and we played brondby in denmark which was maybe gazzas debut ( correct me if im wrong). my dad was working in hamburg an got me sent over and i worked in germany for a week on a building site then made our way up to denmark for the games against brondy an esjberg. outside the shitty wee local stadium (not brondbys) a group of their fans came up to us and asked in a very polite voice would you like to fight , my dad said no this time as we have the weans with us and there reply was , ok in that case have a beer then. got steaming with them ,nicest hooligans ever. had i great nights out in aarhus an the local burds where all fucking gorjas. the esjberg game on the monday i got the match ball as davie robertson kicked it to me at the end and i still have it to this day. superb.

talking of alan gow, the boy is as much a bear as us. i dont know him personally but knew his brother and he went to the same school as me. gows dream was always to play for his team , OUR TEAM, and i admire his attitude in wanting to play for rangers. he didnt have it good at clydebank and worked his way up past airdrie ,falkirk and finally got to rangers, he should of been givin a chance but i suppose walter sees him every day and decided hes not good enough but it wont be through lack of effort or his passion of playing for HIS team. What would we do if we signed for rangers?, it annoys me too when the papers call him a misfit.
