  1. I don't know who should start up front. I thought Beattie was very good today and with a couple more matches under his belt will only get better. Doesn't really deserve to be dropped. On the other hand, we've just spent £4 million on a centre forward who's already played plenty of games and should have had plenty of time training with his team mates. I think I'd go; :mcgregor: :whittaker: :bougherra: :weir: :papac: :weiss: :davis: :mcculloch: :beattie: :miller:
  2. He doesn't seem to have a great footballing brain. He has the attributes to be a good player. Pace, athleticism, strength and he can head a ball but its 4 or 5 touches on the ball before he can find a pass and in a league that goes 100mph he cannot do that. He's been poor in the 2 games so far this season (as well as the newcastle game) and he really needs to sharpen up.
  3. Him and Miller could be deadly together. They look to be on a similar wavelength, both have pace to burn and a directness that no one else seems to have. And, if Jelavic turns into the type of target man he looks like then, that trio could be fantastic.
  4. Jiminez is already in the team. I think he'll pick Molinari, Quiros and Donald.
  5. As Papaguy said, pace will destroy hibs. :mcgregor: :whittaker: :weir: :bougherra: :papac: :edu: :davis: :weiss: :lafferty: :miller:
  6. I think Eduardo Molinari is a stick on for a pick. He's played well this year and with winning the world cup with francesco gives him a perfect partner. .
  7. Paul Scholes really was outstanding against Chelsea. His passing was unreal! Agree about Newcastle though. I know it was only a friendly but they really didn't look great against us and still have a squad of averageness.
  8. Fucking brilliant from Kaymer! Great chance at a 4, guaranteed 5. Watson must up and down for his 5.
  9. Not over right enough, Kaymer just chips out sideways. Watson can still make a 5 and a 5 isn't a gimmie for Kaymer.
  10. I don't really know what they're arguing about. It doesn't matter if people walk through it or not, that looks like a bunker everyday of the week to me. The whole situation is a bit shit and its gonna put a bit of a damper on the competition. On a positive note, this is Kaymers!
  11. People are standing in the bunker because there are live 50 billion bunkers on the course, they'll have assumed that was out of play so it would have been fine. Silly course set up. Grounding the club means setting the club on the ground behind the ball. On grass, its fine but you're not allowed to in bunkers.
  12. Thats a bit gutting to be fair. He should never have grounded the club. I would have assumed that was a bunker everyday of the week, particularly since they've been told all sand areas are bunkers.
  13. He defiantly grounds the club. It all depends on how it's classed. To me, thats a bunker.
  14. Dustin Johnson may be in a bit of bother. Suspected he grounded his club in a bunker... Either way, the man has very little bottle.
  15. Edu really needs to sharpen up. His athleticism is a fantastic asset however he takes an absolute age to release the ball. Gets caught in possesion far too much.
  16. McIlroy has been so so unlucky on the last few holes. Hit great puts that just never fell and he's only one back! Only one back though. Watson looks screwed at the par 3, up against the steep bank. Kaymer starting to look a little loose. Looking like its gonna be a good final few holes!
  17. I dont think Woods is anything like finished. He's going through a very very tough time off the course and no matter who you are its hard to remain focused. This week is a write off and unless he does the spectacular next week, the season will be the same. He'll work hard over the off season and start to work his way back. On a side note, Mickelson is a complete and utter bottle merchant. He's been second to Woods for a long long time and he's had the perfect opportunity in pretty much every tournament since the Masters to become number one and hasn't even come close. Thats him not +3 for the tournament and +8 for the day, he'll be lucky to break 80.
  18. People going nuts over this! It's hardly even that long for a transfer saga. Not all transfers, be it your number one target or not, are done over night.
  19. I don't think we would. If the rumours about us putting a £6m tag on McGregor's head are true, then there's no way Davis will go for any less than that. Along with knocking back substantial bids for Bougherra. Smith will have singled out who he see as his important players and I have seen nothing to suggest we'll just accept a pittance for them.
  20. My link Plenty of talk going on about this. Seen it on SSN so thought I'd have a look about.
  21. Unfortunately Braga aren't very good, I think the scum will be quite comfortable against them. Who can they get in the next round?
