Some folk give Walter grief for playing Novo wide left because his natural position is a striker. Others are now giving him grief for playing him as a striker? The words 'can't win' come to mind. During our Uefa cup run Whittaker played wide left and done so very well. Davis is a right sided midfielder. We played they 2 in midfield along with Edu and Thomson due to a real lack of options. With that many players out its inevitable you're going to have to shift things about a bit.

Whenever I've seen him I thought he looked quality. I don't seem him being on very high wages or anything so in that respect there is a chance. I do think Man City would rather him get Premiership experience though so a Burnley/Hull/Wolves will probably get him.

He wasnt the worst player in the team today. He had an anonymous first half but looked decent in the second. People will see what they want though. Too many folk on here only see the bad when it comes to players they dislike.

Thats a good point actually. It's very easy for Barca to blood the likes of Pedro because if he had a poor game he was covered by the likes of Messi, Xavi and Iniesta to back them up. Youths have to come into the Rangers team and because there is a lack of quality they simply have to perform. They can't be given the same freedom as youth players stepping into other teams.

Shouldn't be considered 1st choice yet. He has the potential to go very far though, he has the attributes to go on and be a world class player. He also seems to have his head screwed on!

We're down to very bear bones if Beasley and Novo arnt back! Mendes Beasley Novo Bougherra Boyd Miller Fleck McCulloch Naismith Could all be missing. Along with a half fit Thomson and Edu. This is where the fringe players have to step up! We cant afford half arsed performances by Lafferty, Whittaker, Papac (Who's been a bit poor lately) Thomson and Edu (I know just back from injury, but if played have to step up)!

Gotta be honest, I dont think that video makes him look that great. I never trust youtube videos of players though because they usually make a player look much better than he is. But too often in that video it shows him beating a man and hitting a poor shot/pass/cross. Also, in a highlight real, if you have to fill it with deflected shots it doesnt look good! I do know he's a pretty decent player though, just saying its not the best highlight video!

The way Bomber and Souness and such like got stuck in was nothing like the way Lafferty tried to do Hinkel. The older boys were more savvy about they way they done it. The went in hard to show who's boss and were never in any danger of getting sent off for it. What Lafferty done was cowardly. He slid in and left his studs up in a challange he out right knew he was gonna walk away from without a scratch.

They paid £20m for the pair and don't play either. Adem Ljajic? Didn't make the grade at Man United and has been shipped back to Partizan Belgrade. Think he means Zoran Tosic, they signed both him and Ljajic at the same time but loaned Ljajic back to Belgrade. Think there was a problem with his work permit or something so they just let him go. Anyway, I would doubt he'd loan Tosic to us. it would'nt matter if he did loan him to us , walter would'nt play him. Just look at what he did with aaron and the guy was the captain of the spanish under 21's Aaron wasn't good enough and Tosic is an awful lot better.

The contraints he's had to work under have been really tough. I actually think he's done a very good job at Killie. Keeping them a top flight team with no money what so ever is pretty impressive.

I think all he's meaning is that he's not having money trouble because he's able to support a good lifestyle, but he doesn't half come across as a right dick. It does nothing to dispeal the "I've got it made" attitude that people think he has.
