    Anti-Virus

NOD 32 is by far the best anti virus software on the market. It uses hardly any system resources and runs in the backround and updates it self.

  13. They should of kept it the way it was, 2 from every country and when they expanded it let the lesser nations have ago. It might of spread the wealth a bit, instead of making the rich clubs richer.

  18. http://www.<No links to this website>/sport/footbal...-name_page.html BUFFEL: SURGERY HAS GIVEN ME NEW LEASE OF LIFE EXCLUSIVE SPOTLIGHT ON RANGERS Buffel: Knee op will let supporters see real me By Gary Ralston THOMAS BUFFEL signed for Rangers in January 2005 but reckons his career at Ibrox starts from today. The Belgian playmaker has been forced to write off the last eight months after undergoing surgery on a knee injury that threatened to wreck his career. Buffel made his comeback yesterday in a low-key friendly at Murray Park, playing for an hour without any problems in a 2-0 win over Queen of the South. He will be handed another couple of reserve team run-outs within the next 10 days as he bids to force his way back into the first-team plans of Walter Smith, a boss for whom he has yet to play at Ibrox. Rangers fans are anticipating the return of the former Feyenoord star, whose creativity between midfield and attack could be the final piece of the jigsaw that sees Smith's new-look side challenge in the SPL and Champions League in the months ahead. Buffel freely admits the Light Blue legions have only been given glimpses of the form he is capable of since his £2.5million switch from Dutch football. But now he's free of pain for the first time in his senior career he believes he can finally fulfil the potential previously denied by his dodgy knee tendons. Buffel said: "Rangers fans have seen me in some games playing almost at my maximum - Inter Milan in the Champions League, for example, or against Celtic in the SPL. "However, if you want to be a brilliant player and a massive influence on your team you must be able to show that form every Saturday-Wednesday-Saturday. "I hope I can become that performer now and it's what I'm working towards because I couldn't become a better player while carrying my knee injury. "I had a certain level of ability but I could not take the step to a higher level because I could not work between games. "I could train with my team-mates but never take the maximum out of myself because I had to keep myself fit. I couldn't even go into the gym and use the weights for risk of damaging my knee. "This is like a new start for me at Rangers. I'm starting from scratch again and I can still become better as a player." Buffel's story stands as a warning to kids and coaches of the dangers of overloading young bodies with a workload their youthful bones are incapable of carrying. He started out in youth football in his homeland, training twice a week and playing games, but after moving to Rotterdam as a teenager was soon on the practice ground six times a week. In addition, he was turning out at youth level and with his national team at various age groups and the result was a niggling knee condition he knew he had to get sorted - or else. Buffel added: "I've probably been carrying the injury since I was 18 and it has come gradually, probably because I was doing too much at a young age when I wasn't ready. Maybe other kids could cope because their muscles were more developed at that time. "As a youngster, all you want to do is play and I haven't always felt pain but it was becoming more and more difficult, even when I've lived and trained well. "But I'm also aware that going for it as a youngster allowed me to make a career with Belgium, Feyenoord and Rangers. I couldn't tell you how many anti-inflammatories I've taken in the past but that couldn't continue because it's just not healthy. "Over the last three or four years the tendons on my knee have been getting thinner and thinner, fraying like a rope. In the end, the specialist warned I could have suffered a total rupture. It might have taken a few months, a year, two years down the line, so I had to get it sorted." The timing of Buffel's decision to go under the knife, which he took in consultation with the club and medics last December, could not have been worse. But Paul Le Guen left Ibrox a few weeks later to be replaced by Smith, then Hannover tried to lure him to the Bundesliga before the transfer window closed in January. Buffel said: "It was a difficult time, made more complicated when Hannover came in with an offer. I agreed to go for surgery during Paul Le Guen's era and when the new manager came in I told him I just wanted to get myself fit to play again. "The specialist told me this was the best time to take a break and go for the operation because the risks were just too great if I continued playing. "I've had to be patient and work hard but the medical staff and the manager are pleased with my recovery and now I can look forward again after those difficult months." Buffel admits the Rangers dressing room these days is different to the one he knew as recently as December after Smith arrived and overhauled almost the entire playing staff. There have been 15 new arrivals at the club since January and the turnaround in the fortunes of the team have been marked. They are on much more solid ground and Buffel, who has been in full training with his new team-mates for the past three weeks, can't wait to become involved again. He added: "I've seen how well the new coaching staff get on with the players and Walter Smith has brought stability to the club, which is where it all starts. The results have followed and seeing the progress in recent months has made me train even harder as we hope to take it to another level. "I want to leave the past behind me and come back a new player. There are many exciting challenges ahead, including the Champions League. "Every player wants to perform on that stage and it's a style of football that suits me. We can be confident of winning through to the next level. "The ultimate aim must be winning back the SPL title. There's a lot to aim for and I hope to play my part." If he has has knee problems since he was 18 and hasnt been able to train properly since then, no wonder he comes in and out of matches and hasnt been able to bulk up in the gym. Hopefully this is now sorted and we can see his true potential. Ive still got high hopes for him
