Was just on the MSN UK list of transfers for UK sides and it states that we signed Afolabi on a free? Not seen any confirmation of this on the Rangers Website so i'm guessing it's just a typo.. Anyone know anything of it?

Don't know anything about him but he's young, plenty of experience with feyenoord and plays left wing.. Promising.

We have some really decent options at centre mid - Adam, Fletcher and Dorrans are all regulars in the EPL and guys like Brown, Cowie, Thomson (if fit) etc. The entire midfield is pretty solid really when you take into account guys like Morrison, Naismith, Commons, Snodgrass and Bannan out wide too. Probably the most creative/attack minded Scotland squad we've seen in ages!

I really hope his wiki isn't up to date.. 30 appearances, 1 goal for St Ettiene last season.

He's in between clubs just now mate. He's 19 and had a couple of junior teams etc interested but he's holding out to try get the best move possible. Plays on either wing or up front on occasion.

Looking at that squad, out defence looks amazing and midfield/attack look very short. I'm sure it'll get sorted next!

Totally agree about size. My little brother Adam got released from rangers when he was about 14 due to his size and he has undoubted ability. As discussed, if he was born in Spain he'd be in the first team squad at a top side in la liga by now.

I hate Ian Black. He should be red carded in every match he plays. I'm sure Jamie Murphy would jump at the chance to play for his boyhood heroes. Sell Beattie for 1M-ish and spend the money on Murphy. Seems simple, won't be.
