  1. Pete Smith is a good rangers man, went to my school
  2. Your season in a tweet? Juggernaut performance with a couple of decent cup runs, small stumbling block mid-season, finishing up with a 30 point lead over our nearest rivals. If your club was a car it would be a... Roll's Royce. Steeped in history and classy to the core. Manager's typical post-match press quote? The boys did well considering that a couple of them werent playing in their favoured positions. I thought (insert opposition team's name) put up a real good fight. Now I hope we can kick on and get the win next week. Who would you ship out in January? Black/Perry New kid on the block? Tom Walsh looks like he could feature this season Prepared to run through walls? Jig would take on their whole team himself if he had to. What's the funniest chant you've heard? Too many to pick one out What upsets you most about the modern game? Players being booked for over-celebrating What rule change would you like to see? A minimum number (5/6 at least) of home grown players must be included in each match day squad. (this wouldn't be a problem for us but would be useful further up the leagues) The official you fear the most? The majority of them
  3. Got a 2013/14 season preview magazine through from Virgin Media today. There was quite an interesting section in it whereby they interviewed one blogger from each English Premier League club with the same set of questions, conjuring up some funny and fairly interesting answers. The questions were: Your season in a tweet (the coming season) If your club was a car it would be a... Manager gone by December? Manager's typical post-match press quote Who would you ship out in January? New kid on the block? (player) Prepared to run through walls? What's the funniest chant you've heard? What upsets you most about the modern game? What rule change would you like to see? The official you fear most? Thought it could be fun for us to have a go at it, aside from the gone by December probably, seeing as there isn't as much managerial change in our league.
  4. Dunno about at Ibrox but I went about 5 minutes early at Hampden during a Scotland game and didn't get back til about 5 minutes into the second half and the pie was utter shite. Then I had to watch Scotland for another 40 mins..
  5. Going to give this a go mate. I've managed to get my bill down a couple of times but don't fancy paying 12 quid for bt when i'm already forking out for sky sports and the xl package
  6. Didn't someone say we were looking for a pacey striker? Agree with scarkev about this, didn't we sign James Beattie from Stoke too?
  7. Think he's had an attitude for quite a while to be fair. Maybe just naturally slightly more inclined towards the wankier end of the personality spectrum.
  8. Didn't realise Foster was from Elgin. My mate played up there a good few years ago and said Foster was so quick that they just played him up front and punted it up for him to run onto.
  9. Do remember my bro telling me that he was a bit of wanker several years ago. And I agree with the previous poster about Hutton, think there might be a player in there somewhere.
  10. I've said it before but when my wee bro played with Crawford, Naismith, Cole and a few of the others he said that Crawford was the real stand-out and the nicest guy there too. Maybe see even more of him this season..
  11. I actually really like the home strip
  12. Big Gough was in my old work (buff club) one night. Told him how much of a fan I was and he was really nice, slung me a few quid tip as well as he left. See our players and their lot at bars/clubs on bath street quite often.
  13. what's he like? i had IF Di Natale and he was shit hot.
  14. Absolutely love this wee guy. Would take him back in a heartbeat but doubt Super Ally would want him after the whole "ally doesn't want me, his loss" tweets last year.
  15. Yeah, the only decent players are Templeton and Wallace in the game. I review stats for EA and i'm constantly trying to get them upgraded as much as possible but for now we just have to bide our time. We'll be back to 3-4 stars one day. And yeah, they all seem to love COD too, seen them posting their scores up a few times. They all go in a team together sometimes, which would be pretty surreal to come up against.
  16. Saw Andy Mitchell and David Templeton talking about their Ultimate Teams on Twitter last night and they both uploaded pics of theirs. They were messaging each other back and forth and at one point Templeton said "I got a black Hazard, what does that mean?" for Mitchell to explain it was worth several hundred thousand coins. Not sure if DT was joking or not.. Anyways, both their teams were pretty average teams with mainly Spanish players but it was still interesting to see them and to think that you could quite easily end up playing against one of them one day and not even realise. And to see that Templeton hadn't even built a wee silver team around his card!
  17. We sell it for cheap in my work so we do get get through quite a lot of it. Most customers usually give us the "wit? no strongbow?" chat thought and aren't very complimentary of the old blackthorn. I'm a bit of a poofter and stick blackcurrant in mine anyway so don't notice much of a difference. Safe to say it's not the best but it's still well worth getting behind them for the odd pint or two now and again to show them they made a worthwhile investment in the gers.
  18. a guy i know called alessio is a big rangers and juventus fan so it might have been him. unsure.
  19. I don't mean to stick the boot in when he's down but my wee brother used to play with Cole at Rangers a good few years ago and pointed him out as the worst of the lot. Said something similar to Craig53's Morton pal about him. He's obviously shown something since then to still be involved in the squad though and did have a decent game in the CL so i would love to see him at least get a few games before we pass final judgement on him.
  20. Unsure how admin haven't twigged onto this and moved it.
  21. I would hope that whilst Charlie Green is sorting out many other aspects of our club that have been neglected over the past few years that he also sorts some of these problems. I've never heard anything but bad things about Sinclair either. Anyway, as one poster said, if he's a boyhood pal of Ally's then it's doubtful there will be any major changes in this area anytime soon which is very unfortunate considering our youths are the only source of new players the squad is going to be seeing for the next year or so.
  22. According to Scott Burns on twitter we had loan bids rejected for Newcastle and Spurs players. I know some people will be chuffed as most of us would rather we were bleeding in our own youngsters but it'd be interesting to see who we went for.
