I've been sitting in the same seat in the copland road since 1986 and been going along since the late 70's and without any doubt in my mind this team is in the 'top two' of the worst Gers teams i've seen. I think that we are tactically and technically incompetent, but the thing for me is the lack of fight and passion to attempt to play football, and for me that comes from the coaches. Good coaches seem to be able to get average players to play above themselves but it seems Walter has no belief in his charges and that means his decent or average players play with fear and think they're crap and take no risks and what you get with that is what we are now watching. I'm afraid as much as I respect Walter, I think most current SPL managers would get more out of that team than he does.

I have a bad feeling that Bougherra might still be off before the window shuts. I've no evidence,apart from recent experience with hutton, Cuellar etc. The gow thing i've never understood. Smith brought him in played him in America on tour and he seemed the golden boy, then nothing, no chances in the 1st team. i don't get it.

So it was, my brain is like swiss cheese these days. Nutters then, well... Andy Goram, hero and nutter! Excellent.

I realise I went off the subject of Hard players and into the nutters. So for me the hardest player I saw would have to be between Richard Gough and Terry Butcher, not dangerous but tough, every week.

Gregor Stevens was a true nutter, For Motherwell too if I remember rightly! Modern day though, look no further than Fernando Ricksen, Good player but World class nutbag. Fire up the Rockets!
