  1. Heard a radio caller make a serious claim tonight. he reckoned ibrox was riddled with asbestos. With a possible expense of £10mill to get rid of it. Is this common knowledge, rumour/speculation or as yet unknown?. I think he was a Tim but not sure, didn't catch the whole call. Not great if accurate, anyone shed some light?
  2. I also wondered how this would work. The 11-1 couldn't remain surely as with one league body it should be one Club/one vote, no matter the club or division they play in. Ie peterheads vote should carry as much weight as celtics in any new setup
  3. In a league of 18, RFC will only get 17 home games If RFC start to sell the tickets soon for an sfl2 season with 18 home games then surely the gov bodies couldn't force thru 12-12-18 as we've paid for the original setup Hearts have already started selling ST's for next season so its not too early either
  4. All hospitality suites sold out. Not a ticket to be had. We got 5 x bar 72 tickets today, i think that area is now sold out as there was only 11 left in bar 72 yesterday. Our ST's will be passed on to friends Hopefully we can burst our own 4th tier world attendance record again
  5. Sfl teams require to give a 2 yrs notice period to leave the sfl. If not each team that wants to resign from the sfl can ask for a vote. The vote requires 3/4 of all other sfl teams to agree that the team can leave. Sfl could take any rebel/walkaway teams to court, the sfa could go as far as revoking the teams playing license for bringing the game into disrepute. Not just as easy as accepting an spl2 invite
  6. Congrats chris, so happy for u both mate. Spk when you're back at work mate , Marky
  7. Terry butcher is a stick on surely I still want to give ally another season but if he has to pass the torch then I can't see past TB
  8. I caught some of SSB last night driving home. A caller asked, due to the sfa arbitration panel that newco couldn't pursue players on oldco's behalf, does it put to bed the argument that its a new club. AW piped up he's always considered us a new club since we didn't pay all debts. AW is entitled to that opinion, however factually incorrect it may be. See SFA, ECS,UEFA,FIFA etc. AW when on to state however that "you can count me out of the notion of wanting RFC dead and buried". Fair point andy but if its an entirely new club then the so called old club would be dead and buried. Having it both ways on that argument. Again AW went on to state that he wants OF games back ASAP. Well according to andy rangers are a new club, ergo another old firm game will never be played. Again he wants it both ways, he wants new rangers back in spl to fulfil his desire to watch OF games yet whilst declaring its a new club. Ultimately in his his eyes he wants some sort of New Firm game with the OF history attached, even charading it. It's all or nothing andy. Delahunt and Guidi never opened their mouth with a counter argument. Now I know most will say "don't listen" but at the sane time allowing this media outlet (which I imagine is well listened to) to continue to allow Infactual opinions to go unchallenged just baffled me. Even if DJ was on he'd go on about "same strip, same stadium, same rangers bollox" Whilst that's all well and good, not one panelist presents the FACTS in support of the same club argument. Daryll king was our defense on this media outlet, now it's just "rangers haters fm"
  9. We also heard them Colin, they wouldn't get very far in the X factor, I think I'll leave it at that
  10. Fuck their banter. Any cunt that takes the piss in any way should be boycotted
  11. Haha pricks Here's to the 1st of many (raises glass)
  12. I said boycott re Stirling albion and their banner I still say boycott to any team that smirks at rangers and Purposely strikes low blows such as this comment in todays match programme. I couldnt care less if that makes me a petty person
  13. Cheers mate I want my vote but £500 is too steep in December. On a related note, CG said that if we didn't buy up the shares then he'd buy what's left over on #scotnight. Slightly pessimistic of me here but I's there a chance he's had the share issue deliberately in December knowing fine well the vast majority of the support can't afford it at Xmas, which leaves him more shares to Hoover up and make extra profit when he can sell up and move on? Pessimistic, yes. Realistic, maybe?
  14. I didn't know that tbh cheers. Anyone else know anything about the secondary share offering?
  15. Can anyone clarify a few points for me... First off, I'm not investing £500 as I plain can't afford it this month, to be honest I reckon it'll take until the summer until I could afford the spare £500. Secondly, I don't want to invest through the RST for varying reasons (even though the £125 is more feasible for me ATM), I'd rather invest this type of sum on my own when the shares open up next Tuesday/Wednesday and my old man wants to do the same. When the shares open up to the public can I buy £100 worth through a broker? Will rangers get this £100? Or if not then who does? Will my shares give me access to AGM's etc? Will my shares give me a vote at an AGM? I heard that if I buy after Tuesday then I won't be buying from rangers but from institutional investors or buying from a current shareholder kinda thing, I don't understand this as I read that the institutional investors shares are locked in for 12 months iirc, Ie they can't sell them until dec 2013. Can anyone enlighten me as to what's what with secondary shares? Ta
  16. Good piece although IMO there are a few slight innacuracies. Hearts not being punished for non payment of tax for eg They were punished however ridiculous the punishment might be (a transfer Ban outside the transfer window on a club which has no money, to make it better the ban finishes before the transfer window reopens) That's not even a real punishment to a club that has money to spend
  17. It's attitudes like this that allowed our club to become an easy target. "Rise above it" or "turn the other cheek."
  18. It they want us as an enemy then I for one would be happy to give them their wish
  19. Deadly I'd rather us have no friends than ones that smirk behind our back.
  20. I see the "turn the other cheek brigade" seem ok with this even happy to have the "banter", some even posting they'd leave football if it disappeared. Not for me. If cunts want to go toe to toe with our support then they should expect the consequences. Fuck their banter, 2012 has made me rather humourless when it comes to non bears. By the by, in no way is this banter, it's shear, unadulterated hatred for all things rangers.
