What a job Maldini has done as technical director at AC Milan btw, took the job after they finished tenth, totally changed their transfer strategy, changed the football they played going from the traditional Italian style to a more progressive attacking style and bringing in the right manager in Stefano Pioli. Some of their signings have been terrific as well signing players who were undervalued at other clubs like Theo Hernandez and Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea. Didn't think they'd do it this season as despite losing Conte and Lukaku, Inter still looked strong but what an achievement winning the Scudetto this season, a massive traditional club back where it should be.

Was one where a Hearts player blatantly two handed shoved Diallo to the ground and he waved play on, leading to Diallo rightfully losing the nut and getting taken off.

Agree with Goldson has to go for the ball, don’t agree that if he does that we win don’t think it’s that simple, they’d have probably turned the screw more and would’ve still been in with a shout of scoring. One thing performance wise that was disappointing was our bravery on the ball, all the long diagonal balls, no one trying to play into midfield and break lines. Improved a bit when Davis came on but we were far too easy to defend against.

Don’t really get how anyone can say the players shat it last night, that’s a bit of lazy reflection for me. Surely no one thinks we were going to be playing free flowing football in a European final in the blistering heat.
