Get involved on a personal level with some of the residents groups who are being driven from their homes 2. If you wish to do it at Ibrox - carry a Northern Ireland flag. The last thing the people of Northern Ireland need to be associated with is any kind of symbol which can be construed with Nazism and heres why.... Nazis slur Thanks for the story! As for how it relates to that story, i can see that in terms of 'linkage' it could be harmful but ultimately we can't really be responsible for how others view our actions!! You have to fight your corner and state your case and as someone else said earlier when Celtic sing their 'Hail, Hail...' we could create linkage with the Nazi's there but they'd fight their corner! I guess some of our fans just get drunk, and live their lives through that song "No one likes us, we don't care..." and feel it's their 'right' to do what they want! They don't understand the concept of Freedom and how it works! They attack others' Freedoms and then have the bloody nerve to use their hatred towards Rangers as a kind of some kind of rallying point... We need to get shot of that awful song - if we DON'T CARE - WE'RE F***ED! Simple! Get rid of that song, stop using the Union Jack for 10 yrs or so (everyone knows we're proud to be British - we don't need to continually show it) and fly the St Andrews Flag! Then we'll maybe get rid of those numpties that starting following us when the English were banned from Europe! Stops using the Union Jack?? nothing wrong in using the Union Jack we are proud to show our British roots and its the flag of our country after all we are part of the Union!! If we stop taking Union Jacks to games why dont we just take white flags and say we surrender to the press and every1else who wants to have a dig at us I'm proud to be British too - i think though that we've been held back by those fans that (when English Clubs were banned) followed us because they wanted hastle in Europe! They wanted to go abroad drink and use whatever pretext was available to them - they looked at Scottish clubs in Europe and thought "which Scottish team fly's the Union Jack and plays in Europe regularly? A ten yr period or so without flying the UJ won't harm us but it may get shot of those who don't really support us - what's happening now is that we're supporting them, and giving them the opportunity to misbehave! We have to withdraw that support! They're pretty thick but i'd think ten yrs and it should sink in!!!! then we can get back to norm and they'll passed back into the English system...

there shoud be know salutes at football games. Bluntly(and correctly) put I don't have a problem with fellow Bears showing alliegance with the people from Ulster, but they have to make it CLEAR that that's what they are doing - otherwise we just play into the hands of the Mhedia!!!

The idea put forward that these 'salutes' are actually Red Handed Salutes isn't to my mind good enough! If it is that, then the easy way to avoid misinterpretation in future. is to wear a RED GLOVE! If you haven't one then just ask the sellers outside Ibrox to provide them, and before you know it they'll be on supply! If it's "Jist the drink" that made them 'salute' - don't drink! For us Rangers Supporters there can be NO EXCUSES!!!!

Ultimately, the RST can highlight things but until the Club act then the attitude of the Police will continue! :angry2:

If i were in their position (coming up to an SPL win 'the 2nd' and moneywise doing better than us) i'd be a bit more philisophical about getting beaten - but not them! They just bheggar believe in their poor attitude! <cry>

Didn't watch yesterdays match as i didn't fancy our chances - but after the game it was very easy to 'know' we'd been successful! B) Going past BJ's in Anniesland (the pubs window's papped in) and listening to the Ambulances/Police Cars going past in double time, there could have only been one result.. The only real surprise was finding out it was only 1-0 - why oh why cant they take defeat???? :bum: What this all means is BASICALLY as long as we stay in existence they'll be riddled with hatred - very sad people. Wonder how many wifes/partners got a right doing last night...

Have to agree! To give the likes of Radio RC any cash is a mistake - i rank it along with Rangers paying the Sheep Richard Gordon to work on official video's/DVD's! Don't take offence CR but it is a mistake! Couldn't agree with you more!!! Remember being in dialogue with someone at 'Kick Racism out of Footbal' and remember putting that very point! As Rangers fans who care about equal rights etc (i said) Celtic use their polemics of anti-racism as ANOTHER tool to attack Rangers and while pursuing that angle they're putting THEIR agenda AHEAD of the question of Racism! Because at the end of the day if Rangers fans continually get called racists the attitude of "We're getting treated as Racists so WHY behave like decent human being!" So where is the inference? He is telling the truth for once, both Walters and Elliot had to endure racist abuse when they played in Scotland. Keevins makes no mention of Rangers supporters racially abusing Elliot. Personally, I know it DID happen as I was at games when Elliot had to suffer the monkey-calls etc from our fans. The INFERENCE is in the use of the word 'THEY' and by mentioning the 'Rangers and Celtic' he's clearly INSINUATING / INFERING that it happened to both players! Like i say i suppose Paul did suffer some chants - BUT i can't think of ONE INCIDENT with Rangers fans were fruit was thrown! Can you?

A Rangers fan is someone who puts Rangers behind his loved ones and his/her ethics/morality, but puts Rangers next ahead of his own physical/psychological/monetary well being! Celtic fans put Celtic ahead of their families and their families do likewise (Sci-Fi's Borg) they're part of a Collective - We're part of a Group of individuals with our own identities, whether that's Politics, Religion or whatever. A Rangers fan has realisation that while wearing a Rangers Top (or other memoribilia) they behave in a way as to not bring contempt on RFC! A Rangers fan thinks for themselves and doesn't allow ANYONE to dictate the rights or wrongs of a given situation! A Rangers fan questions everything and takes nothing as given - we shun arrogance! I'd like to say we're God's people, but i'm a Commie so can't but i will say we're people who have Goodness in our hearts as opposed to the evil that resides in the 'darkside' brigade! :pipeguy: We wash on a regular basis and keep our clothes and homes clean!
