Just read the Heralds ‘Analysis’ of the SFA Presidents statement - and must say he has my support and I totally agree with Andrew Jennings [the writer of “Foul†- The secret world of of FIFA: Bribes, vote rigging and ticket scandals] in that we should support him!!! So what exactly did he say and why does it have merit? :pipeguy: “By and large, the 4 British countries know what fair play is and when we’re stepping out of line. They (and no doubt the Caribbean too) see what Europeans have done to their countries and didn’t see any sign of the morality/ethics that are now being espoused! To my mind the real culprits are the officials of ‘First World’ countries, they’re well aware of the poverty of these nations - their Political skulduggery is what we should be concentrating on! The trouble with accusations though is that they need to be precise – if you try and generalise you run a big risk of being declared racist / bigoted / sectarian! Though that Irish Politician McAlesse seemed to get away with it okay!!! Oops fell into the same trap – obviously trying to fuel Sectarianism! McBeth has also called Sepp Blatter “A Tricky Customerâ€. Well, fuck me sideways!! How could anybody argue against that? Blatter has spent his entire reign ‘Politicking’ and ‘Pulling Strings’! They say ‘Power corrupts and Absolute Power corrupts ABSOLUTELY’ – take even a slightest look into FIFA/EUFA and you’ll see that all the evidence points to corruption! Whether Blatter & Co are lining their pockets needs to be proved, and in my opinion it’s an indictment to the Worlds Media that they haven’t exposed them!! Why haven’t they? Well, in my opinion the kind of operation that would require, would be expensive and ‘long term’ and no Editor of any Newspaper is gonna give that the okay! Editors (& owners) are like Politicians in that they only live for (at the most) the ‘Medium Term’. Capitalism, no body wants to plant a seed when they can’t eat the fruit!!! So why did McBeth issue the statement, what was his objective? Maybe he foresaw a (well paid) job with the English FA in the offing? Maybe he saw his new position of ‘Vice President’ of FIFA as a job he couldn’t handle – playing Politics with the likes of wily old cunts like Blatter may have been out of his league – didn’t fancy the task? Feared being lined up as a ‘fall guy’? Seems we’ll never know, or maybe McBeth plans to quit and there’s an autobiography in the offing? Or is this me just being the cynical Commie? Definitely!!! ^_^

The Book won’t now go ahead! I’ve been advised by a Lawyer friend of mine that (even though the facts/stats are ‘Public Domain’) because I’ve openly acknowledged one of my main sources for the File - any ‘Proceeds’ obtained could be ‘claimed back’ in a Court! This would mean that – although my ‘take’ on the book’s monies would’ve gone to the R.S.T. – the money could be taken from me personally! Therefore the file won’t make it to the bookshops. I could start ‘from scratch’ again (I’ve done it once before) using just my book layout, while keeping a strict record of my research details (Newspapers/Microfilm etc) apparently that’d keep things ‘Kosher’ but this project was / is primarily about my own amusement so that won’t happen! Apologies if I’ve raised any hopes or mislead Bears – It’s looking so good, and I was really looking forward to presenting it! I can’t (without getting pissed off) make the new File available (with the new inclusions / book layout / formulae etc) on the savefile site, knowing that someone can (AND I’M TOLD WILL), use it (solely for the pursuit of profit) and, as I’ve been informed, be completely powerless to stop them! THERE’S NO REAL POINT IN UPDATING THIS FILE WHEN I WON’T IMPROVE IT!! Since it’s the seasons end, I’ll update it for the last time after the match at Sheep City (without the additions / improvements) you’ll find a link on this website. http://www.rangersmedia.com/stats.html It takes an eternity to download, so be patient – it’ll likely be there until next season starts (at which time I’ll take it off the site) so plenty of time to download it. The thing that lined it up to be so funny was that Keevins on RC Radio mentioned he'd just been "Naughty" in his speech, so i wrongly expected him to have said something like 'Tossers'! The funniest moments in life come when you expect them least!!!! Btw don't recall Spew Keevins giving Gazza the same latitude when he called them Sheep Shaggers!!!! (willy)

Must say i despise the guy and all he stands for. He's got away with a multitude of sins and i can't even think about him without grinding my teeth! Imagine my confusion when i glanced at his comments to Aberdeen Fans "If those Sheepshagging Bassa's will shut it for..." and i burst out laughing! I know he'll get away with it (like he's done everything - being the poor catholic etc) but i for one had a great laugh at his comments! All that hard the Tims put in when they're up their putting in the mix between us and the Sheep - GONE WITH ONE OF LEMONS FEW SENSIBLE PHRASE'S!!! :stab:
