To be fair to him his first choice was Rangers, Hivs made it impossible and Celtic probably offered him at least 200% wage rise plus the chance to play in the Champions League. Agree, his best attributes are those of a young player and age isn't on his side.

McKay does give the ball away all the time but then again Walsh isn't as quick or skillful. Personally prefer Walsh in the team over McKay as in contrast he very rarely gives the ball away and seems to consistently deliver the final ball when out wide. Both very good young prospects, just happy they are being given the chance.

McKay needs to help Wallace out more as McGeouch causing us problems on the break but he has done a bit better going forward last 5 mins of the half. Millers first touch and passing

Miller and McKay have been utter wank so far. Both having good seasons but so far their passing has been well below standard. One or the other off at half time for me.

Yes, if Waghorn gets injured i'd be worried about who would fill in up top, someone with deadly finishing to sneak a goal and score under pressure. Can't help to have a striker in a different style and do we really want to depend on Nicky Clark?

Without trying to goad the sensitive types on here into an argument i really can't see how ANYONE can see negatives in this lads performance coming on as a sub only a few days after joining the club. He was ghosting past defenders in a fashion we haven't seen in a long time, got himself into good positions and setup 2 goals using sublime skill, pace and vision, also linked up well after a shaky 5 mins trying to do too much. Not a team player? WTF? It's true i've had a bottle of vodka but setting up 2 goals in 10 mins has to go down as a terrific team contribution off the bench (albeit 1 incorrectly ruled out and the other not directly his assist). Also remember him tracking back and giving away a corner after Wallace got caught up the pitch. The rainbow flick was probably a trick too far but after running through them at will it shows hes confident in his own ability. Superstar in the making, will gain strength and game awareness with age and can't wait to see him at Ibrox after a few weeks learning the system and getting to know his team-mates.

To be fair they aren't challenging anything, everyone is in agreement Waghorn is a good player and has done well, me included. His running style, build and workrate remind me of Sebo, that was it, both look like boxers not footballers. Everything else was just adding fuel to the fire although you could argue Waghorn has missed a good few easy chances since arriving.

His finishing last 2 games has been poor. Rest of his game i'm more than happy with.

It was more a physical comparison and the fact the last two games he's fired every chance high and wide but now a few people have taken the bait im really enjoying this.
