    I thought that was very strange. The incident happened on the evening of the 20th. With the access to medical facilities we will have it is hard to believe we do not have results of a scan 40 hours later.

    Probably but the TV revenues and sponsorship would collapse and those left in UEFA competition would become the poor relations. That does not mean I want us involved in it, would prefer it just doesn't get off the ground.

    Although I have no issue with the last 4 CL einners getting a place to describe the UCL as a pub competition is just silly. It was won by West Ham last year who sit above us jn the UEFA rankings.

    Exactly, what Rsngers proposed was the introduction of groups as opposed to straight knockout, hence guaranteeing minimum of 6 games. It was still a competition for league winners and only 1 participant per country.

    So restricted to 4 countries, the very thing FIFA originally said they did NOT want. They wanted it to be spread across more countries.

    Looks like the celtic players agree with him as they have clearly stopped playing.

    The only downside with their result today is I might get accused of being a regular Sportsecene viewer. This will be the second week in a row I'll be watching.

    Totally agree. Any slip up tomorrow turns the who narrative back to us not being winners and that as a result they will still win the league.

    Anyone else not able to watch the end of this. I am genuinely thinking of turning off and looking for the final score in 15 minutes time.

    Could be a long 15 minutes but at least something to hold on to.

    Not sure about that. They score yes, we score they could still come back again.

    To me it is a balance. Do we lose more tonight by taking Cifuentes off than we gain by giving Sterling 45 minutes game time ahead of Sunday.

    It is one thing riding our luck and perhaps not conceding again but we need a goal.

    If we draw tonight we will end up with a better head to head against the 2 teams that go through. Shows how terrible the Aris results have been.

    Would have thought winning tonight was the most important thing at moment and Cifuentes was certainly creating them problems.

    Probably more chance of Aris doing us a favour than us winning.

    So far this season they have dropped 2 points less than us and 3 of our points was against them. That means they have actually lost 1 more point against the rest of the teams than us, yet you can't see them dropping more points than us.
