  1. Just to see what everyones thoughts are on this. They will be using it at the England vs Belgium match on June 2nd. Like most people I think its about time but how & what competitions will it be used for? For example the FA Cup the match is Yeovil Town vs Man City... Will smaller teams be able to afford it, is it expensive? All the Premiership/Championship teams should be okay Id imagine & Champions League/International tournaments etc. Should be interesting.....
  2. As much as I would want to see the change & drop cards for the semi finals your providing players to get booked for free & get away with it. Just for example if you knew you where on a booking & you lost the player you where marking who was going for a tap in but had a chance to trip him up you wouldnt do it due to the yellow card been on the back of your mind but then on the other side if the yellow card freebie was in place your getting an advantage to trip him up, no goal scored & basically no punishment on yourself? so for this reason I cant see it changing...
  3. Great season from Van Persie... if hes fit until end of the season he could easily hit 30 goals & 15 assists, that would be fantastic!
  4. If players like Drogba, Raul, Van Nistelrooy... can still all cut it and score regularly then dont see why Henry cant? class players dont lose there touch maybe there pace but not like Van Persie is the fastest either and can find the net almost every game so dont see it being a problem! Still think they should sign Podolski who has been heavily linked aswell & can play in champions league.
  5. Hes good in the spanish league just like De Gea was... put him in the Premiership he would get found out, a good shot stopper and useless in the air and thats where it ends in my opinion. Scezney, Cech, Reina are all better I reckon.
  6. Dortmund want 30 million for Gotze from Arsenal. Should be interesting they need a player like that to keep Van Persie at the club. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/1358/14/dortmund-tell-arsenal-gotze-will-cost-you-%C2%A330m
  7. Ach ano usually what happens is I will win alot so people say who are you taken then once you tell them it doesnt happen as if you are only meant to win yourself... studied that coupon pretty well tonight so if it does get beat will be only just I reckon.

  11. Starting 11 whos better? Casillas/Hart - Casillas Ramos/Johnson - Ramos Puyol/Terry - Puyol Pique/Lescott - Pique Capdevila/Cole - Cole? Xavi/Wilshere - Xavi Alonso/Parker - Alonso Iniesta/Lampard - Iniesta Walcott/Silva - Silva Rooney/Villa - Villa Downing/Pedro - Pedro Thats probably what England would play these days maybe 1 or 2 differences depends on peoples opinions but thats just to show there is only 1 player who would get a game for Spain and just get a game and no more with Ashley Cole! Rooney & Villa is debatable but Villa has proved it and done damage when needed for Spain were as Rooney hasent done it when hes called upon at international leval. Terry has basically passed it now never mind waiting till next years Euros so that is an easy call I reckon. Whats your thoughts?
  12. Barazite looks a quality player... makes you wonder what the hell is happening with our trialists and what they do wrong!
  13. not in top 20 players in the world never mind 3-5! Van Persie, Silva, Mata, Aguero, Wilshere, Nani... would rather have any of them in my team and thats not even going outside the Premier League!
  14. Always supported Arsenal growing up dont know why as none of my family did! I always got as many Arsenal kits as I did Rangers and still to this day. Can remember going to see Richard Goughs Testomonial when I was 8 years of age in 1996 then the friendly in 2003 both at Ibrox & have both tickets still. I had wore my Rangers top with my Arsenal scarf on both occasions to show support to both teams ofcourse. Never cared who won as long as they were good games. Watching Rangers get beat & Arsenal in massive European Finals still hurts to this day!
  15. They follow each other on twitter well I know Van Persie follows Sniejder so they must get on from the limited few that they have?
  16. Best striker in the Premier League at the moment I think? Whats your thoughts on him? When hes fit he is a joy to watch when on form! Van Persie's outstanding record of 30 goals from 36 games since January shows how much he is carrying his team.
  17. I actually thought Zabaleta wasnt happy with Tevez. When it showed you all the clips Tevez trying to talk to him and Zabaleta wasnt even looking at him or saying much back just a blank face. Then after the game Mancini said was a mistake with Zabaleta nothing at all than he first thought, he must have thought he was on Tevez side, No doubt they are good mates but if was stopping the team maybe getting something he would have been raging. As for Dzeko that happens every game when a team is getting beat and takes a key player off, think that one was took out or proportion? Suarez done it the other day and they were winning lol and no one said much!
  18. Sky Sports were saying Thursday is the deadline? & we can make one more addition after that up until 18th August aswell
  19. In my opinion Bedoya is a better player, we have missed out on Verhoek so maybe Rangers might up the offer to get him early as we have missed out on a similar target?
  20. Arsenal were last night closing in on a £15million deal for Juan Mata – paving the way for Cesc Fabregas to go to Barcelona. Fabregas will not be involved in this weekend’s Emirates Cup, a clear sign that the Gunners are becoming resigned to losing him. But that blow is likely to be softened by the signing of Valencia’s exciting winger Mata – as predicted by the Mirror last month . The Spanish star’s family and representatives flew into London yesterday for talks. Versatile Mata, 23, can play wide or as an attacking midfielder and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes the deal will be a major boost for his squad. He is still hoping French midfielder Samir Nasri – a target for Manchester United and Manchester City, with just one year left on his current contract – will sign a new five-year deal. Fabregas has made it clear that he wants to join Barca, although the European champions have yet to meet Arsenal’s £40m asking price. That has left the Gunners’ skipper, who has missed all of Arsenal’s pre-season games with a hamstring injury, working on his own at the training ground. Barcelona made an initial bid of £27m and followed that up with two more conversations. But, despite promising a deal will be done by this weekend, they still haven’t come back with an increased offer. 21. Skysports.com understands Everton have rejected a bid from Arsenal for Phil Jagielka. Arsenal boss Arsene Wengerhas held a long-term interest in Jagielka and he is thought to have firmed up the interest with a bid in the region of £10million. The Gunners tried to sign Jagielka last summer but were unable to prise the former Sheffield United man away from Goodison Park Wenger has made a new central defender one of his top priorities this summer and Jagielka is thought to be on his wanted list along with Birmingham's Scott Dann. The Frenchman missed out on Blackburn's Phil Jones to Manchester United and he is determined to bring in a new central defender before the close of the transfer window. Jagielka only signed a new four-year contract last March and Everton value the England significantly higher than the £10million offer made by Arsenal. Everton are reluctant to lose the 28-year-old, but they could find it hard to reject a sizeable offer as David Moyes looks to raise funds for new signings to strengthen other areas of his squad. It remains to be seen if Wenger will come back in with an improved bid for Jagielka or switch his attentions elsewhere as he looks to bolster his defensive options Source - http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11670_7052213,00.html
  22. Arsenal have reached an agreement which will see highly-rated Costa Rica international Joel Campbell join the club. It is understood that the Gunners will part with a fee of just under £1million for the 19-year-old forward. Campbell has made just three senior appearances for Deporivo Saprissa, one of Costa Rica's top clubs, but has already caught the eye of many European scouts. His potential is clear for all to see and he was included in his country's squad for the 2011 Copa America. He scored his first international goal in a 5-0 victory over Cuba at the Gold Cup and followed that up with an assist in a 2-0 victory over Bolivia at the Copa America. Campbell was unable to prevent Costa Rica from slipping out of that tournament at the group stage, but he left Argentina with his head held high. Beneficial Arsenal have moved quickly to see off the competition for his signature and have a $1.5million (£930,000) deal in place. Juan Carlos Rojas, president of Deporivo, confirmed the agreement to DNA Radio and said the transfer would be 'very beneficial to both Campbell and Costa Rican football'. The youngster is set to take part in the U20 World Cup later this month, giving him another opportunity to impress. It is expected that Arsenal will then send him out on loan as he has not played in 75 per cent of Costa Rica's games. He is, however, considered to be an exciting prospect for the future and Arsenal have seen off interest from Italy and Spain in securing his services.
