If you get BT, check what the download (usage) limit is on the package you get. Their limits are usually ridiculously low, unless you buy their top packages, and make downloading films (if you rent them on Xbox Live or anything), watching football over the internet or using youtube for an extended period of time problematic. Basically they fine you £5 for every 5GB that you go over the limit - but it all depends on what you use the internet for. They also throttle torrent speeds during the day, so you can only realistically download torrents after midnight. If you're not going to use it for any heavy downloading, they're probably fine though.
