Don't think it will hinder them at all tbh. I don't expect he'll be making sweeping changes to training, team selections or tactics. He'll probably rely heavily on the existing staff for advice on that in the first couple of days and take it from there. As for motivation and team talks, there's every chance he's going to get even more up for it than they already would be. "Rangers man" or not he'd love nothing more than making the headlines on Wednesday morning. The good thing is it could play into our hands if they come out and attack, generally that is the type of game we thrive on. Also if they run out of steam after their game vs the mhutants at the weekend. I still expect us to win and be more than a match for whatever they throw at us.

That's what we want. Buy for £5m. Sell for £15m. -
He's such a bullshitter. Night and day with Clement.

He's a bit of an enigma. At times he looks like he can play balls on a higher level than anyone else but as you rightly say he likes to ponce about too much especially in important games. And when he does decide to get involved in the dirty work he just gets into stupid tit for tat niggly fouls with 3 or 4 opponents winding him up and loses sight of the game.

A St Mirren win or a draw later on changes the whole complexion of the season again. Happy with the way we got the goal and a quick second against the run of play and in at HT 2 goals ahead even not playing very well, then scoring again so quickly after conceding one. The difference in mentality between this and previous versions of the team over the last 5-6 years is clear. When we would have crumpled this team is standing up. Need to keep building on it though, mould a team that can beat that mob routinely. -

KT is brain damage in commentary. Applauding McCausland for taking one touch and finishing rather than taking too many touches. Then slags Cantwell for doing just the same as McCausland did. All that was lacking was where he placed the finish. -

Yet when he's speaking to Clement, who is giving him the actual tactical instruction, the manager does not have his face covered. Odd if it was an instruction that the boss himself wouldn't do it. -

Cantwell needs to stop hiding his face when talking, nobody gives a fuck seriously. -

Ridvan nice ball in for Cantwell. MOM by a mile so far, long may the wee man keep this form up. -

if his hand wasn't there it hits his side. The arm is in a natural position. -

It looked like one of those games for the first 40 minutes. Showing the mentality required though, good reaction to the last result and in a game against one of the better in-form teams just now. Now just go out get the third to kill it and bring on Fabio Silva. -

Fucking brilliant Sima I hope PC still gives them the message at the HT team talk though. Other than the goals it's been a terrible first half. -

Started with Ridvan winning the ball, quick passes with Cantwell and Sima. Smashing ball from Dessers. Great finish. Not often we have great counter attacking goals but that was sublime. -

He must've forgotten jumping ship when he saw Gerrard and 55 were coming. Arrogant plastic faced tosser. -
Welcome to Rangers, Philippe Clement!

Play that to the squad every day until we're champions. -

Totally out fought so far. They're far more up for it unfortunately. Get in at 1 down, reset and get some pep talk, out and score early and we are still well in this game despite their pressure. -
Hearts trying to pass the ball about but the pace and final ball and general quality from both teams is very poor.

He's starting to have more good moments than bad. If he rattles the winner in at the crime scene and other big games he'll eventually win some, and hopefully most folk over.

Lammers really unlucky there, great technique and some save. -

Didn't look in any discomfort at all walking off. Normally they'd give a clap to the crowd too. Looked more like Clement has sent him the message like he did with Cantwell a couple of weeks ago. -
Absolutely pish result against dogshit opposition. Bottlers, clueless and hopeless. I can't even blame Clement with the state of the European squad and players available tonight. The only positive is Ross McCausland. If Clement can learn anything from that it's get some more of the young blood in the team and find someone that will take the flops and the dead wood off our hands.
