  1. Priceless -"shearersbar" talking about UEFA competitions ! - best try and avoid relegation next season you Gimp !.
  2. Well said, there's been plenty of high and lows in my 37 years following the Glasgow Rangers and this season has been the best, without doubt ! - remember, we can still win the TREBLE, not a bad season if you ask me ! - Come on the TEDDY BEARS !!.
  3. Well, that's the media for you - and, more importantly how people believe the media and all the shite it spouts and ust how gullibel people can be - quick example: My granny, 96 years of age called me tonight, she lives in Dunfermline; This is a more or less script of the conversation: Gran : "well, are you proud of yourself ?" Me : "Always, why, what's up?" Gran : " your so-called friends kicking that Policeman, I'm disgusted with you" Me: " Gran, that was from a Germany versus Holland game 8 years ago - they were just using it as an example ". Gran : " oh, I though that was Rangers supporters". Me : "no, you know what the TV stations and papers are like". Gran : " sorry Mark, I was just so angry". Enough said I think !.
  4. What's the answer/solution ?. Arseholes will be arseholes whether they stay at home or travel to another city !.I walked up from Cathedral Gardens past Picadilly Square just as everything was kicking off and every single one of the fans I was walking with were shouting abuse at the troublemakers, in all ,about 120 -150 dick-heads I reckon (I have been a Police Officer in the Isle of Man during TT week for many years) and I reckon I can calculate numbers of troublemakers in a group fairly quickly. The HUGE majority of our supporters had a great time and a tiny percent acted like dicks - although it must be said that some of the GMP acted like thugs also ! - no escaping that fact !.
  5. Great video - thanks - and, Coops, I tried to phone you on the day but the newtork kept coming up "Busy" sorry mate. Anyway, met up with my brother in law in Cathedral Gardens, his Dad, and three of his pals - great day, absolutely loved it ( apart from the result - but there you go ! ) always next year.
  6. Still knackered after getting back to the Isle of Man at 9.30 am Thursday. Flying to Glasgow in the morning and staying in Scotland until Tuesday morning, (after Love Street) then back home. Trying to organise flight to get to aberdeen for Thursday ! - knackered but wouldn't have it any other way ! - Come on The Teddy Bears !.
  7. Well said mate ! - this cunt Burnie has been after the Gers for years ! - if China and Burna are so important to her then why the fuck is she talking about Rangers ?. Like you say, she is nothing but an "agony aunt" to teenagers but now seems to be pushing for a job a a "real" journalist !.
  8. I was in Cathedral Gardens all day (from about 1.45). Too be honest, the screen was pretty pish (Ok, we were about 20 yards from it and maybe the picture was better the further back you were). Anyway, dissapponted with the result but magic seeing so many Rangers Supporters in the city.
  9. Well, the temperature in my car at Ronaldsway Airport, Isle of Man, where I have been for the last 5 hours or so is about, 64 F. And, I have just seen the catering firm employees walking into the terminal building so I assume breakfast is about 2 hours away, and then the bar will be open about 9.00 am, so, things are looking good !.
  10. I lived in Lanarkshire for a couple of years in the mid - 90's (just outside Caldercruix), but I'm Fife born and bred. Glad you like the pies, all home produced from our farms in Fife, proper ingredients !. I'll be back in Fife on 30th May, going fishing in Sutherland with my Dad and we always take a huge box of pies steaks etc from Roberts shop, let me know your address (pm me if you want) and I'll make sure you get some pies and a couple of REAL steaks dropped off at your house !. Anything for a fellow BEAR - take care mate. Mark Watson (Isle of Man).
  11. Yeah - 66 who will be looking down on us - come on the Rangers - Aye Ready.
  12. Oh yes , standing room only in heaven today I think !.
  13. Yeah, me too mate !. Methil eh !, one of my brothers owns a butchers shop in Forth Street, Leven, Robert Watson, the shops called "Watsons of Leven" (well there's a surprise !), and he's living in Burntisland with a lassie from Methil called Janice (but I can't remember her surname !), AND, my best mate here on the Isle of Man was born and brought up in Methil, his name is Brian (but I can't tell you anymore because we are SS MC) if you get my drift !. Anyway, take care pal. Mark - Isle of Man.
  14. Sorry to hear you lost your wife so young Yeah, she was a bit special. Practicing Catholic, however, had the "grace" to choose our daughters name because she knew how much OUR team meant to me and my dear old Grandad. Fantastic woman, very, very, sadly missed by all who knew her. X.X.
  15. Fair enough Coops !, I have put my new Range(RS) Rover seat onto "vibrate" mode. Already I can feel the warm glow of contentment flowing over me !, oh, hang on, fuck !, I've just pished myself !!!! - fucking knew that Buckfast - Absynthe 50/50 mix would catch me out !!. Anyway, if anyone is interested, the weather at this moment in time (03.40 hrs) in the car park at Ronaldsway Airport, Isle of Man, is magic, clear skies, warm, and I think I can hear my plane warming up !!!! - See you all soon !!.
  16. To my wife Diane (R.I.P. 28/08/06 - aged 34yrs) miss you sweetheart, so does Brit Elizabeth (our daughter aged 8 yrs). To my Grandfather William Watson died 5 days before the 1972 Cup Final.
  17. Yeah, but you never quoted the previous poster either did you ?. Was going to post a witty reply but, nah, just fuck off . . . .
  18. I have no idea what that means !. Oh, I see, no I'm not gay, although my girlfriend is bi-sexual, I fuckin hate this three in a bed thing, you would think it would be fun but after a couple of years, it soon wears off !!. I was talking about the first poster actually :harhar: couldnt give a toss how it looks because what it represents is far more important Well, maybe you should have made that a bit clearer ACTUALLY !.
  19. Actually, thinking about it, I don't think it was Dale Gordons first game for Rangers when I met Ally !. NO, definately not. It was a cup game at East End Park, Dunfermline, when me and my brother in law gave Ally and his then wife Alison a lift !. When they still had the terracing before the stand was built at the east side of the stadium. I WAS at the game when Dale Gordon first played for Rangers, (and I think he scored 2 goals ?) and that was at East End Park, also, but I was there with a lovely young lady from Kirkintilloch !. Ah !, Suzie McQueen, where are you now ?.
  20. That's a great post mate. How are you ?. I had the pleasure of giving Ally a lift in my car many years ago. Rangers were playing Dunfermline at East End Park and Ally was injured (it was Dale Gordon's first game for Rangers if I remember correctly !). Anyway, after the game, my brother-in-law and I got into my car which was parked across from the stadium and as we are following the traffic along the road towards the Halbeath motorway junction, Ally and his wife Alison are walking along the pavement next to us. My brother-in-law (Billy Dey) winds down the window, and, in a "jokey" sort of way shouts " Ally, want a lift ?", well, fuck me, 5 seconds later Ally and his then wife are in the back of my car !!. We dropped them off at the "White House" I think it's called near the college at Halbeath and he got into his car, a white Audi 80 if I remember correctly. We didn't have anything to write on for an autograph so he signed the headrest of my car ( I still have the headrest - but the car is long gone !!). Ally McCoist was like you and me, down to earth and very funny, and very "Rangers" if that makes sense. For the 15 minutes or so that he was in the back of my car, all he talked about was the game, the result and the support. A real gentleman, no doubt. And, when I took Lorenzo Amorusso Roe Deer stalking in Perthshire, (no, that's another story - but true!). Take care mate. Mark.
  21. No, I'd rather have someone above the age of consent ! ( I thank you ! ).
  22. Big Mark - Isle of Man via Fife !!!.
  23. I have no idea what that means !. Oh, I see, no I'm not gay, although my girlfriend is bi-sexual, I fuckin hate this three in a bed thing, you would think it would be fun but after a couple of years, it soon wears off !!.
  24. Yeah, so is my cock, but it doesn't score as often !.
  25. Yeah, I think I could suffer the shame of it in our Trophy Room at Ibrox !.
