Sure, thousands will go to Ibrox and have a great night, but, I suspect that those who go to Ibrox had no intention of heading for Manchester for various reasons (family, cost etc). So, other than a good bit of PR and letting some more supporters enjoy an "atmosphere" they may not otherwise have had (at home or in the pub), I don't think that it will make that much difference to the numbers heading for Manchester, which, being brutally honest is the only reason that this has been done, to try and disuade as many supporters as possible from going to Manchester. In my own case, it has failed miserably, I'm still going and so are my mates, family etc. (P.S. Superb gesture to make it free, that's Rangers at their classiest best - well done).

Im with "janvanrinkydinks" on this one ! - next season, just don't travel to any away games. See how long it takes before the other SPL teams and clubs kick up fuck about it, then, Rangers can flex their financial muscle and start getting treated with a bit of respect. I guess, 4 away games with no Rangers support should do the trick. Unfortunately, in a finance driven business, MONEY TALKS !!.

Some poeple just don't get it . . . . . . It's about "being there", sure, we could all sit in front of a TV or in the pub, we can do that anytime, but when will we get another chance to travel to the city where our team are playing in such a big game ?, and, especially a city so easily accessible to the huge majority of Rangers Supporters. It might well take a bit of effort and cost a bit of money, but, if Rangers win, how many supporters who could have gone, but chose not to, will be pig sick for a very long time (and then in years to come tell people - "yeah, I was there"). Bastian FFS !, there will be tens of thousands of Rangers Supporters in Manchester, I thought that would have been obvious by now. Opening Ibrox will make no difference at all to the travelling support in my opinion. Im beginning to wonder if you actually want to go to Manchester or are looking for an excuse not to go ?.

All this will do is get a few thousand supporters to Ibrox who would otherwise be watching the game at home or in the pub. Won't make a bit of difference to the numbers going to Manchester in my opinion. The reason I am going to Manchester is to support my team and be with my fellow supporters and mates !!! It has FUCK ALL to do with whether Manchester "wants us" or not !!!!.

I decked him, not too hard, just enough for him to fall over his feet and end up sitting on the pavement. I enjoyed myself at the casino, my ex/business partner took dickless home in a taxi. It was a good night.
