  1. I do wonder whether the issue though is Laxey/The Easdales - there's a level of overlap with them and the old board Not saying that it is a correct justification, just that that's perhaps what people's thought process is with regards their anger
  2. agree with this. As I said, just hope we're not saying the same thing about this board in a year's time. This summer, I hope and pray that this board will sort shit out, regardless of whether theres brutal cuts or not. Lets live within our means for once
  3. My point was merely that i don't think this can be spun as a 'good' thing. It might not be the crisis that some want to make out it is, but its certainly not a good thing that we're doing this. Regardless of who's fault it is, its rather disappointing
  4. Agree with this. Some people might not state their opinion that well, but the fact that some will have a go at anyone angry or disappointed that we have to take out this loan is rather sad.
  5. Think you are correct here. It's just that inevitable slide back into debt, any debt, that has us worried. It starts somewhere, just hoping this isn't the start of a slide into more debt. After all, not sure how far £1.5m gets us?
  6. I agree with this. Cant blame Wallace et al for whats happening. Think there's simply a lot of anger and frustration going about. Wasn't long ago many of us were pleading for Green to be given more time to sort out the mess the previous board left. Just hope we aren't sat here again next year hoping another board will sort out this one's mess!
  7. I don't get your thought process here - you think people have no right to be angry that we've spent our whole IPO already? That we have to take out a loan to sort out our running costs already? I think people would be pretty irked about it whether the loan was coming from Laxey or from any other individual If you are contented that the club has been so badly run over the last couple of years (again) then all power to you, but christ sake, don't be pissy with folk who have pretty genuine grievances about the utter clusterfuck that has been our club over the last 2 years
  8. It truly has gone downhill to a depressing degree in here. Have missed the original OP here though - was it claiming Duries youths would beat McCoists first team?
  9. Investment is good, taking a loan out to get through a month or two of running costs and having to pay it back with interest is not all that clever. Needs-must and l that but depressing how badly mismanaged we've been again by Green and the previous board of the last year or two
  10. Oh, and our 100th goal of the season was an own goal. Seems somehow oddly appropriate
  11. Updated for that mess on Saturday. One of those days. Should really have been a comfortable win but our defending for those first two goals was absolutely fucking horrendous. The decision to book Temps was an absolute disgrace too. Have called our second goal as an own goal, Aird gets the assist. Seems abundantly clear we need to rotate a bit, freshen it up. I'd say well done to Stenny but their celebrations were just dripping in utter cunt-ery. Cupping the ears - aye well done son, you did well to get pumped 8-0 last time you were here. Fair play to them for the point but have a bit of dignity
  12. Christ almighty. Some people. Do some folk refuse to go to the park because the grass is green? Get a life
  13. And yet the chat on twitter tonight (I know, I know) is that we are taking short term loans rather than taking King's money Do speak up if you know something
  14. Updated for win over Ayr. Goal 100 is on its way next week - who's gonna score it?
  15. Good to hear. So crucial to us loving forward. Hopefully something gets implemented sooner rather than later
  16. Updated for last week's win. Will update for today's game when I actually see the goals. Oddly, for last week's game against Dunfermline, every goal didn't really have any meaningful assist - 3 of them came from errors from the other team or back off the keeper and the other one, I wouldn't really class as an assist as it was basically Temps doing all the work for his goal
  17. To be fair, we started with Crawford, a first teamer, aswell as Luca, Gallacher and MacAusland, who've all played for our first team. It was a good win. Simple as that. Delighted
  18. Frankly, there has been so much upheaval at our club, it is nigh on impossible to look more than a few months down the line. We could be utter paupers by the time we get back or have been bought over by King and have the capability to have a decent squad. Who knows
  19. I see the 'somebody hacked my twitter account' defence arising in the near future. Can't say I'm offended in any way. Extraordinary to see how thick some folk are though - footballers on twitter, dearie me
  20. Edging towards the 100-goal mark….(updated for 2-1 win over Brechin)
