Good question. Gazza's team but only just in my opinion. 5's is about keeping the ball, being patient, creating that wee bit of space then taking your chances. Gazza's and De Boer were really good at beating people and creating space. McCoist despite his recent failings was a great goalscorer and was good in the 6's.

He is a classic example of someone who wastes obvious talent through a lack of application and a poor attitude. His career is well and truly at the crossroads, obscurity beckons if he doesn't get his head down. I'd give him a month under MW and see how he responds.

Wilson would be a good signing and a good fit in a team that played a passing game.

A few decent players on loan on top of a few decent buys. Progress our best young players. Hopefully his rep for playing attractive attacking will mean that clubs will trust us to develop their players.

I'm open minded about him. He has only 18 months as a manager behind him. But those eighteen months are very good. I'd feel more confident if it was three years of success, but by then I doubt we'd get him. I know it won't happen but I'd love it to be him and Cathro 1 and 2.
