  1. Ally deserves a lot of praise for his half time team talk today. Reckon he'll get it through gritted teeth from some people on here though. I had £30 on -1 but I'm happy with just the win after the HT score
  2. Made a decent start, 100% league record and still in the challenge cup. Lost 2-1 in the League Cup after extra time though **EDIT - Forgot the picture**
  3. Get down to see Tottenham a few times a season. I got into them a few years back during their run to win the Carling Cup at the time. Their 5-1 win against Arsenal in the semis sealed it for me. Rangers will always be No. 1 though.
  4. Haha. I hadn't seen it. Wasn't til I went back into the Den and it was up at the top and I noticed it. Won't happen again
  5. The team for tonights game is Bell Foster Cribari Mohsni Wallace Crawford Black Law Smith McCulloch Clark Subs: Gallacher (GK), Daly, Little, Faure, Gasparotto, Aird, McAusland, Peralta Good to see Peralta on the bench, hopefully he can get some game time. EDIT - Just seen the other thread. Feel free to delete, Admins. My bad!
  6. I'm looking at an E/W bet on Lawrie at 110/1. Muirfield's his favourite course and travels to play it as often as he can, so he knows his way around it.
  7. I agree. Scottish football doesn't need and surely can't really sustain having 3 bodies running things. It should be the SFL running the league system and league cups and the SFA (after major internal reforms) running the Scottish Cup.

    Ally

He should be given a chance. When Livingston came down to this level they struggled the first few months and then ran away with it, the same thing will happen with us. In any case, if he doesn't stay, who will want to come in that's better?
  9. I'm fairly sure that Clyde is always pay on the gate. It was said on here ages ago that we had rejected tickets and this was supposedly why.
  10. Not sure if this should be in the Den or not but someone posted it on Twitter and thought I'd share it with the Bears. He sounds like a right pillock Edit: made an arse of putting the video on
  11. Can't believe its taken 20 pages for this guy http://i2.<No links to this website>/incoming/article1283186.ece/BINARY/Dorin+Goian.jpg http://www.thejack.co.uk/theplayers/klos.jpg
  12. Comparing Ally McCoist to Sir Alex Ferguson - controversial! I agree completely though, calling for the head of a manager whose team is unbeaten in all competitions is out of order. He needs to be given the time and I'm more than confident that he is the man to lead us back to the big time.
  13. Saturday 3rd of August 1996. The first time I ever set foot inside Ibrox. Richard Gough's testimonial when we beat Arsenal 3-0. It was the source of a few essays at school.
  14. I was at Ibrox with my mate (Spurs fan - forced him to buy a Rangers scarf) and his sister (her boyfriend was at the game in Manchester). Going to the stadium was the most exciting thing I've felt in all my time supporting Rangers but after the game I was so depressed, the closest I've come to crying after a football game. We'll be back there some day soon.
  15. Got them just waiting on my mate with his card details.
  16. When do they go on public sale? I was on the site this morning and all they had was QoS and Montrose
  17. 7-0 against Ayr at Hampden in the Scottish Cup in 2000. The game Kanchelskis stood on the ball
  18. I remember being at home on my own listening to it on the radio (I was only 15 so I couldn't go to the pub myself). With a few minutes to go I remember being on my haunches with my head in my hands thinking it was all over until the guy on the radio said "There's been a goal at Fir Park!" I looked up in hope more than expectation that The Well had grabbed a goal but was expecting it to be 2-0 Scum, when they said it was 1-1 I shouted just about as loud as I have for any Rangers goal before or since.
  19. Rangers 3-0 Arsenal. Richard Gough's testimonial in August 1996. Goals from Super, Peter van Vossen and Jorg Albertz. The match was the subject of a couple of essays when I was at school.
  20. I am a fan of Tottenham Hotspur and I've been to WHL for a few games, but if Spurs and Rangers played against each other I'd support the Gers every time.
  21. There's a few people on Twitter saying it was 50,411. But if there as many pockets of empty seats as people on here are saying I doubt we were only 671 empty seats.
  22. This is on the BBC's website and is a bit more accurate "Rangers play their first home game under new owners when East Fife visit Ibrox in the Scottish Communities League Cup first round."
