Also the red bull hasn't been that much better than the other cars all of the time. I think people are overreacting because they don't want to see the same driver dominating over and over but it was like that when ferrari dominating and the same with mclaren when mika hakkinen was winning DC's. I'm sorry but this is what formula one is, between the top teams and the top drivers there is very little give, normally it's whoever has one small edge over the other. It's to Vettel's and Red Bull's credit that he has managed to keep up this level of consistancy. Even in his first Drivers championship win it was very very close throughout the year. Infact if there was ever a case of a mediocre driver winning because of a superior car then it was JB with his BGP 001 car which arguably he should have won even more races with

So when vettel started from the pits, behind even last place and still managed to podium. That was all blind luck right? If vettel was so poor then he wouldn't consistently outpace and outqualify his team mate. Well the PC version utilises the engine just as well as the next gen consoles will, so right now it's a good buy.

I doubt it will be 1000 dollars, valve have said they are aiming to compete with the consoles. It will probably be a similar price if not slightly more. Also the library of games that will be available will eclipse anything sony and microsoft could put together. We are talking nearly every good PC game that has been out for years and years. Plus if you like emulation then great, you now have a console attached to your TV that you can install an emulator on and play every megadrive, snes and ps1 game ever made.

There is no guarantee that the PS4 or the XBone will be worth buying, all you have to go on right now is empty promises from Sony and Microsoft, and with the current fiasco on DRM with microsoft it really does not seem worthwhile buying either console at release. Maybe after a year I will reconsider but looking at release schedules, there is 0 games that aren't also coming out on PC that I would need either console to play. I also think your example is why I have such disdane for these next gen consoles. The hardware barely compares to a mid range gaming pc but they will be holding back game development for the next 4/5 years for any multi-platform releases as resources are diverted to console game production.

A hell of a lot of those games are past releases which will be made null when people are asked to dish out 400 quid + for these new consoles. I just don't think this generation of consoles really represent a major upgrade like the past ones did. Killzone is not a reason for me to spend 400 quid more to replace my ps3 and it's catalogue of games I still have. You also don't need to blow the roof on a good pc to game and with new projects like this valve steam box then you potentially open the console market to a back catalogue of some of the best games ever made. Untill some really major releases come out for the next gen then I will be sticking with my PS3 and my PC. (the nintendo consoles are a whole different argument as they don't cost the world and aren't targeting hardcore gamers any more)

Well its stupid in this day and age that you should need to shell out 400 quid just to play 1 or 2 exclusives. Especially when they could look a lot better graphics wise on a pc. Not only that but most of the exclusive games these days aren't even that great in the grand scheme of things. I mean uncharted looked nice but it wasn't exactly groundbreaking gameplay wise, more like a nice film with lots of spectacular set peices. I mean whats the ps4 release everyone is talking about here, Killzone? Are you shitting me. There is way better FPS games out there than fucking killzone

Both consoles look far behind anything current gen pc's can do. I think I will be sticking with the PC as it has a MUCH MUCH larger game catalogue and backwords compatibility with old games

As shit a fight as it was, haye is the only person I've seen fight Wlad and not look like hes about to killed. People complain about that fight caus Haye never went for it, but both fighters were fighting very conservatively, and Haye was never going to outscore Wlad, not with his legendary jab. IMO Haye is still the only person I believe has a hope in hell of beating either K bro, but I don't see any of them making that fight. It's just not worth the risk anymore, especially for Vitali.
