Can anyone explain to me why Smalling keeps playing rb, every time there is a forward play on the right he ruins it, and don't even get me started on his terrible defensive positioning at rb. Surely even playing a wrong footed fb would be better than smalling

Yeah, its not like groves had a good fight, he was well within a chance to KTFO froch early on. But my by scorecard it was only a matter for time before a stoppage/KO an froch to win. But big rep to groves for fighting like he did, future WC if he can keep up this level. People need to take a step back here though and stop overreacting, this was nowhere near the level of bullshittery such as the dodgy pacman descisions .

Yes the match was stopped WAY too early. I had no favourite for the fight. But clearly the ref should have let froch finish the fight because he WAS going down. If you have watched as much froch fights as me this is generally how he goes late game. As soon as a fighter stops defending himself it becomes less of a sport and more of a thunderdome type event (see american refs)

I had it only one point out from that. The commentary was fucking shocking, was nothing like the fight i watched. Froch had this won, for sure, just the ref stopped it FAR too early/ A lot of those rounds were CLEAR draws if you actually keep a proper scorecard and not just based on abstract concept such as bravery, toughness ect.

Wow, probably the worst referee I've seen in a while. Froch definately had groves about to go down but the ref stopped it before he got a chance to put his lights out. Pretty disapointed in the ref, I mean clearly froch was going to win and the fight was CLOSE but should have left groves for one more round

I really love how the ref is stopping every little bit of decent action just before grooves keeps going down.

To attract a top manager to need to be able to sign top players and compete in the transfer market. United don't look like they will be in a position to do that until the glazers fuck off and stop taking massive amounts of money out of the club. Uniteds team was aging and they have looked weak at the back and the center of the park for a while now. It wasn't David moyes fault that united refused to sign midfielders for the past 3/4 years and only strengthened up front, and he wasn't able to sign any of his targets this summer either. The game is all about midfield these days and united have neither the legs or creativity to compete this year for the title
