  1. Maybe you could point out where I said those players you mention would make the team.
  2. Apart from the fact that Jim Baxter, Ian MacMillan, and others played for Rangers.
  3. Aye, I'm 16. I also think that Alan Hutton knocks spots off of Sandy Jardine, and Eric Caldow couldn't lace Numan's boots.
  4. From my time watching Rangers, no he wouldn't make it. From the whole of Rangers' history, he definitely wouldn't make it. In fact, most of those players would be nowhere near the team in either of those categories.
  5. Out of the players mentioned in the OP, only Laudrup and McCoist would be considered. As for putting Moore, Novo, Hemdani, and Jelavic in there. Give me a break, ffs.
  6. And frustrating at times. Nevertheless, the victories and titles they managed to pull out of the bag against all the odds, were some of the most crucial in the history of Rangers...and most exhilarating.
  7. You are wrong on at least one count, and I have posted nothing that would suggest otherwise.
  8. Perhaps I should have said the CHANCE of legendary status. I'd say that going on to win 4IAR would have got it for all those who played in the lot.
  9. I'd say anyone who wins 4IAR is going to have to be considered. Some of our best ever players couldn't get us that achievement.
  10. No, I'm not. That's the second time someone's said that tonight, so I'll say I can be vouched for if you want. What's to miss anyway?
  11. IMO, the hard core of the team who put us on the edge of achieving a Rangers rarity of 4IAR, must surely have been in the frame for achieving living legends status before this season's European debacle unfolded. Apart from the 3 titles they had won, they had saved us from financial oblivion with their efforts to get us to CL campaigns, and had done it against the backdrop of Rangers being without a pot to piss in, and the daily stories of our impending demise. Has their failure to get us into some kind of European competition this season, now damaged their chance of becoming talked of as greats in decades to come, or will all be forgiven if a rare 4IAR is secured?
  12. I don't think Tugay was fully appreciated in his time at Ibrox.
  13. Erik Sorensen from around the same era was briefly a good keeper for us also.
  14. I think our chances of getting an exciting signing went with the final whistle V Malmo.
  15. The manager inherited the team which wiped the floor with everyone put in front of them at the business end of last season. Those who had left, were mainly injured or not featuring during that time. Pre season was a disaster, and we were garbage, but most of us dismissed it with thoughts of "pre season is about preparing for the season" We were shocking for most of the qualifying games for both CL and UEFA, and can have no complaints at going out, even if we had chances to go through. Apart from the Motherwell game, we have played terribly for much of the time in the SPL, and could easily have dropped another 2 points at Ibrox on Sunday. I'm usually pretty upbeat about Rangers' chances, but I'm getting worried that goldenballs might not be up to it...but nothing would please me more than for him to do his usual, and come out the Clyde with a salmon.
  16. If you find the Daily Record report of the trial, it quotes testimony from McNeil that it was an "open secret" that the abuse was going on. The BJK aspect came from him kicking Torbett out of the piggery, but failing to inform the police so as to protect their club's name. Of course, this allowed Torbett to make a return to cfc at a later date.
  17. Do the other games not count when talking about winning while playing badly then?
