Having potential and being good enough are two completely different things. Playing for rangers you need to win there is no room for movement on that. As much as anyone likes to pretend we will for give loosing a handful of games if it means giving young lads with potential a chance. Most people who say this will be the ones ripping the team for not being good enough. I wish the lad well but he will now never get the chance to become a regular for the biggest team in the country. Instead he will more than likely dissappear into nothing like our other young stars. Ness,mccabe ect. They left thinking they would be better off than at home. And where are they now. I feel this will just be another rerun. And next year we will have young players in mcloud and Aird as regulars. Shows g what hard work and dedication to the team you love will get you.

I cannot wait for the new season to start! We now have a league where the players will have to stay on their toes and not just bimble here way to a title. With hearts and hibs joining us we will have at least 8 games to get some revenge on the pair of them. Whilst supporting the team. I think we will be a new monster next season. We showed glimpses of in early in the last. But I do think this will be allys last go. If the football is not up to standard this year he will of completed his part of the rangers journey and got us back to where we belong. All be it with some missed opportunities along the way. We need to win a cup as well as the league. We have one more attempt at the Ramsdens and if we don't get it this time I will be slightly disappointed. But above all we must support the team where ever they go. They will need us more than ever this time around. No surrender!

ok playing against teams that use the same tactic we have used ourselves in the champions league. park the bus. The ratio is similar in tearms of the difference between teams. Man utd for example had a budget 10 times our at leas when we played them last but we frustrated them and made it near impossible to score from open play. Yes there is a big diffet to where we are now the the same principles apply. Teams do not want to play against us the have 10 men behind the ball in 90 % of cases and score against us on the break. I have said the defence needs sorting. But when teams open up against us we play better. As we can get in behind their defence. And believe that was shown earlier in the season and will be shown more next year too. And in anycase the team that can win the ugly matches wins the championships

ok so if ally gets to the Scottish cup final. Would you think any different or would it just be blind luck? He has won two back to back titles this one in record time. Yet he has show nothing to prove he can win next year too? Ok so he has won ugly but he has still won. What happens when the winning gets pretty

Every other thread is a comment on allys failings to be honest, whether that be a comment he has made or a tactic someone doesn't agree with. And to be fair with regards to cup games they will take care of themselves. Hence the nature of a one off cup game. im a little bit sick of coming one here and seeing our support not getting behind the team or the management. I have expressed my view above and do not expect people to change their view because of my post. Im not a common poster on the forum however ally is our manager and at tjis moment in time he will be for the foreseeable future. And as long as he keeps winning the board will not sack him. I said above he was not ready but he is dooing what we all wanted at the start of tjis journey. Getting us out of the shit pits of Scottish football and back to were we belong. With a decent cup run in the process. Ok so its not always been pretty but there have neen some flashes of a team that can compete once we are back at the top. People will make up their own minds but mine is behind our team and our manager

Ok so the way I see it is. Technically we still have a rookie manager. He is still learning his trade and he is learning in a pit of fire. Not only as a support do we criticise every little mistake that is made, but in a league that we have won with our eyes closed against hatchet men who have parked the bus since the first quarter of the season was done. The players in the league at least are running on auto pilot. As the competition was won ridiculously early. And so it should of been. However that does not take away from the fact ally in all honesty was not ready for the job he took on. But he was the right man for the job. No one else could of got us through what he did in the manner that he did. With regards to the dropped points in the spl in his first year in charge do we really not think the wheels might allready of been coming off in the background and ally's attention unfortunately was being pulled in the wrong direction. In saying that was it not ally who managed the team to the big points gap that was lost. Am I happy with the way we are playing at the moment? in general no im not. Am I happy with were we find ourselves at this point in the season? Too fucking right. If we compare it to ladt season again the same level of opposition we have came on leaps and bounds. Cup final and quarter final to look forward to I think we would of all took that at this point last year. Next year I believe we will be a different monster all together. When teams didn't park the bus at the beginning of the season we played our best football. Less teams will park the bus next season and I believe things will look much better. However there are a few hings to sort first. Ie the defence. We need to get the captain out of there. I think he has one season left and that needs to be as a forward. Its his best position and he should lead from the front. And bow out on a high. I know we are frustrated and I know things do not look fantastic. But I do think it will click for ally and I do think he will come good. It might be stupidity or blind loyalty. But he has been there for us and we should do the same. Was he ready to manage us? Not in the slightest should he be given time. This should not even be a question.

It just Interested me. Not normally one fir watching much football other than us. Normally working and only move shifts for our games. I agree I dont Think its right for us
