  1. So in Tomo's blog he's claiming of possible police action and his "evidence" is soldiers clapping and doing the bouncy. Madness.
  2. I'm only using Steam at the moment since my PS3 kicked the bucket but I doubt I'll be getting this 'Steam Box' or whatever they call it. For a start I don't have $1000 to spend on a console so I'd need to wait to get it pre-owned on Ebay. Secondly, I don't think it will be that much better than the PS4 and Xbox One. It will have better graphics but I reckon we are now at a level where the graphics are good enough that maybe, just maybe, the emphasis could go back to gameplay and replay value? Thats whats important to me, which is why I often revert to Snes and Mega Drive emulators and roll out a few classics. Maybe the Steam Box (are they even calling it that or is that something termed by the Youtube community?) will be a game changer but it would need to offer a different style of gameplay and it wont happen.
  3. An interesting theory. It does seem to be getting a lot of coverage which is strange for a sport that nobody cares about. The point Tam made about less than 1000 being at an international game say's it all. (and no doubt the tickets were cheap) Maybe they should grunt when they hit the ball like the tennis?.....
  4. Tam Cowan has been given two pages in tomorrow's Daily Record. Should be interesting.
  5. "Aye but somehow we need to wait for the accounts before we can judge. Ridiculous." - You half an hour ago on Twitter. Has something happened in the last few hours to change your mind from being "understanding" of fans' reluctance to turn on the board to labelling that mindset "ridiculous"? Just wondering.
  6. I'm in the same boat. I just can't back a campaign that has no evidence to support its argument. Its just our nature, Peter. We can't change who we are.
  7. Not sure the Beeb had any right to suspend Tam Cowan for remarks made on another platform. As long as he wasn't saying it whilst at the Beeb where accuracy is expected. For what its worth, Tam Cowan is one of the few at the Beeb i had no issue with. And whilst his article in the Daily Record may have been his true opinion, it was certainly exaggerated for comedic effect I'm sure. Hey, it was a funny article. :-) How Stuart Cosgrove remains in a job I've no idea, though. (and not just because he's unfunny, uninteresting, uncharasmatic and undeserving of a paycheck)
  8. Great line in there from Tom Miller when the army entered the park. Said something like 'If Stenny are not to concede in the second half they're going with 400 at the back, four in the middle and two up top' lol
  9. Bill certainly has his detractors but he talks a lot of sense if you ask me. (apart from the religious stuff! lol) That's not to say those of an opposing opinion are wrong, I just don't get the hatred towards him. All these bloggers have the clubs best interests at heart i'm sure but just because you agree with one person it doesn't mean you have to dislike the other.
  10. Not sure I agree with the whole "Sack the board" protest at Ibrox this weekend in the 18th and 72nd minute. We're supposed to be celebrating the armed forces tomorrow. I just don't think it would be appropriate to stage a protest on this particular day. By all means the next game.
  11. Who'd take Sir David Murray back?.... No boardroom battles when he was around! lol
  12. I'd have no problem with Bain returning. When the bank stepped in, he was instrumental in ensuring Walter was able to still put out a strong team whilst drastically reducing the debt. The debt went down and we were still winning trophies. So yes, I'd welcome him back.
  13. Thats what it is. Sony's strategy has reminded me a lot of Sega's when they were going head-to-head with Nintendo. (ps, Its just a name. I wish I had a better answer for you like "Atheists need to come of the closet!!" but alas, I don't.)
  14. Yep. My guess is its because the fan they've went after is capable of altering fan opinion and turning fans against the board whereas our haters can't do that.
  15. If someone has made threatening and offensive comments resulting in the club wanting to take action then the person who made those comments only has themselves to blame. I'd just have one question and it would go like this..... "I read threatening and offensive comments all the time on the likes of Twitter and other forums fron non-Gers fans and to my knowledge no action has been taken by Rangers. Why?"
  16. Ah well. Misinformation flying around everywhere. Still going to get destroyed in the console war.
  17. Dead Rising 3 was supposed to be an Xbox One exclusive but Microsoft have announced it's now set to be released on the xbox 360. Those console pre-orders must be diabolical....
  18. Leggo needs make his mind up on Brian Stockbridge. He likes then dislikes him from one month to the next.
  19. When managers get sacked after so few games you can almost guarantee he wasn't sacked for football reasons.

    GTA V

Some more Scottish references.... There's a billboard that say's "Seaton Sands Monster Truck Festival". There's an ice cream parlour called The Sundae Post. (Dundee's local newspaper) There's an alcohol called "Jakey's". There's a news report on the radio about a local tram system going way over budget and way over the expected finishing time. There's a ship called Dignity. (Deacon Blue)
  21. A very interesting blog. Makes me more at ease with my decision to back the current board until we get the financial accounts. In the past few months I've given up reading RangersStandard and CoplandRoad articles. The attempts to divide (and conquer?) was unbecoming, in my opinion, of what is expected of a Ger.
  22. I think it was Daryl King on Clyde1. (not that i'm a regular listener) Whoever it was, I don't disagree that we could have won this division with a fraction of the wage bill we currently have. (Queen of the South ran away with it with a budget of £300k) As long as we're not losing TOO much cash I'm cool with that, though. Just saying.
  23. I don't think we need any more players. The wage bill is surely already high enough for this division. Someone said a while back Rangers are breaking a walnut with a sledgehammer and its so true.
  24. Starting to think Richard Gordon found a loophole to antagonise in an act of defiance. After all, can the Trust really rule on the name of a derby? There's nothing set in stone in regards to the name. If thats what he wants to do, fair enough, but its incredibly petty. Switch off. The show will go on as long as Gers fans continue to make up the numbers. Edit: I'm in no way saying this is definitely the case. Just an opinion and don't care either way to be honest. (for anyone at the Beeb who may be reading)
