*** The Official 'Champions v Dundee Utd' Thread ***
Blue Atheist replied to Papa Sasac's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I think we lack creativity with McCulloch, Papac and Edu in the same midfield... and the matches at Ibrox have been quite nervy this season. Must admit i've been enjoying the away games much better as teams are opening up and we're picking them apart. Utd like to attack so hopefully they wont do what everyone else does at Ibrox and try to frustrate us. 3-1 -
A few simple questions regarding the Tax case
Blue Atheist replied to Madina's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
If all it is is a 10 point deduction and the likes of Kerkar, Healy, Weir, Broadfoot etc shown the door... I wouldnt be against that, lol. If it finally put an end to all this, great. And with Celtic dropping points left right and centre, we'll still comfortably win the title.. -
Its the SFL who dish out 25 point deductions, not the SPL. (example being Gretna's 10 points and Dundee's 25)

May i ask what was wrong with my comment? I dont know what companies you've worked for but the ones i've worked for arent set up based on allegiances to a footy team. How ridiculous to even suggest such a thing. People need to wake up if they think football is that important, or that the majority of bosses out there would be so narrow minded.
-
I reckon the Beeb has a large number of both Rangers and Celtic fans who all support different political party's. Just comparing it to any company i've ever worked for. The Beeb wont be any different. In fact, they'll be an even more diverse bunch at the Beeb as there's hundreds of staff.

He gave the "typical answer"... Its when they do a Hinkel/Commons/Loovens.. thats when it get desperate. I thought Majstorovic's "I'm back to my best" comment the other day was far more controversial, lol. He's done nothing but make mistake after mistake. :-)

I think he would be more likely to get injured playing for Australia than in a bounce game at Murray Park. The long flights arent good for blood circulation and muscles can tense up therefore if you've got to play in a football match a day or so afterwards you would be more likely to get injured IMO. Anyhoo, McKay will soon be showing Gers fans why he's the Aussie PotW i reckon. Should be that difficult to get in ahead of Ortiz..

Always good to have a fellow Englishman on board. Hoping he can continue his progress and be a major player for us.

Interesting article. That said, i have to say his comment about The Herald only shifting 40,000 papers per day compared to their previous standards of 120,000 is no surprise given most read the news on the internet now anyway. Newspaper sales have dropped dramatically everywhere. Its still a shite newspaper, though.

This tax case may not be as bad as first thought.

I'll try. Not long to go until this is sorted. Days away now. -

Good for them. Are these claims absolute shite, though? If so, i'm all ears... Put my mind at ease then. Thats what i'm trying to say to you, we just dont know because nobody at our club answers any questions. I'm not saying any allegations are true, but i'm not saying they are false either. Being the inquisitive type, i like answers.,, -

I never said i believed it. I'm merely saying it would be re-assuring for myself and thousands of others if these arguments were countered. I suppose i could be like you and say "I dont care what they say, its all lies"... but i wont.... because if somebody said to me "Why is it all lies?" I wouldnt have an answer for them.... -

But if you ignore them you dont get the same pleasure when all the things they've been saying fail to come to fruition. (because you dont know what they've been saying/gloating) ps, Sites like the RTC may be mischief making but has anyone from our side actually proved any of their claims wrong? Thats what bugs me. How can you say with certainty that its all lies if we get no info from Whyte and Co? Same goes for that Beeb documentary. How am i supposed to boycott the Beeb when i've only heard one side of the story? I cant, can i? -

No worries, Oleg Gillete - I havent been on it that much but i'm guessing its one guy writing it and a few sources providing the info. -

Just speculating. We're not claiming to know anything. Thats for the tax experts and mystic megs on the other side. Its certainly worth talking about, though. -
If someone offered £30m+ for stadium sponsorship.....

Only as a last resort. Wouldnt want the name "orange" in there either. -

Jim - Couldnt Whyte "loan" the cash to the club? He did say admin was a last option so if its simply a case of bite the bullet now and pocket some extra cash later that he wouldnt have originally then its certainly one way to go.. He can make the money back. -

Blue Atheist replied to ForeverBlue_Since91's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Nacho - if its £20m do you think that would force administration? Would mean Whyte is down £38m already. (including the money he paid Lloyds) Maybe he's thinking he can do that and then sell the likes of Greegsy and Jela and then pocket a large chunk of the cash? Thats what i'd be thinking but i'm no businessman and i'm sure Whyte has more than one trick up his sleeve. I just wish he never agreed the other day that there *could* be a "New Rangers". Maybe he was thinking worst case scenario but as i said previously this just isnt an option. -

What i reckon will happen is a settlement in the region of £20m. Whether that forces administration or not who knows but i doubt it. All this "New Rangers" nonsense is a complete non-starter for me. Why? well, because a "New Rangers" would have a trophy count of..... i cant even say it!. Oh how i would laugh if we won the case. Those on the other side would implode big time! And the bloggers can go back to moaning about daft songs... -
Best Atmosphere I've ever witnessed at Ibrox.
Blue Atheist replied to watp72's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Yeah, that Stuttgart game was absolutely bouncing. I was gonna say the 2-2 Villarreal game at Ibrox. It was easily louder than any OF game i've attended. -
What is it with Sasa and head knocks? lol No wonder his nose is in that state.

Do you still use BBC Scotland?
Blue Atheist replied to 4MenHadADream's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Thats the thing about the Beeb....... you dont have to use their service for them to pocket your money, lol. Do i still use it? - Yes Do i believe they're against Rangers? - Honestly, no i dont. Who will be the big loser in all this? - Whyte? the Beeb?..... Nope, THE FANS
