  1. http://cards.littleoak.com.au/198283_fks_soccer82/rangers.htm Most constant players at my first years attending games. I feel old.
  2. He's Tough! He's mean! He makes the timmy's scream Charlie Green, Charlie Green! Eee lad. get stuck in t'them paedos. Tha's doin a grand job.
  3. The opposite of love is not Hate. You have to feel something for them to hate them, hate being an emotion. I am indifferent to them, I really couldn't care less and have only found out their scores by reading it on RM.
  4. There was a match at Hampden tonight? That's quite a healthy attendance for Queens Park
  5. 8-1 Kilmarnock rugby park 1980 Think John MacDonald got a hat trick.
  6. Won't give that game away, but with a company that isn't highly regarded with Rangers fans. Need to work though. Need to pay for my season somehow. The boss lets me book match days off as holiday. He's on these boards and his boss too.
  7. Due to circumstances I was born in England. Patents and all ancestors Scottish and was raised in Scotland. Got the Fife (hated) accent to prove it. In my army days and afterwards when living in London, I would always classify myself as Scottish. I would get quite shirty when folk called me a plastic jock. Starting to identify more with the country of my birth now. Never had any enmity for them anyway.
  8. No wonder the Doc has me on Ramipril. I'll stick to Rangers Media and avoid the free read in the canteen.
  9. Fuck him. Who needs the rat. We have: Oh Barrie Barrie. Barrie Barrie Barrie Barrie Barrie McKay.
  10. I had the same feelings. It's quite surreal. Have just finished my meal in the staff canteen and scanned the papers there. I don't buy them any more. I had a little chuckle at the reports from the match. The other sports articles raised the blood pressure. Mail, post and sun. All of them dross. Is there any newspaper that a bear can read these days?
  11. Any links to the Gers fans singing "Who ate all the pies?" against Killie, when Ally was warming up. Great banter and he had a great laugh about it too.
  12. I was going to have my name tattooed on my willy, but there are too many letters in Ian.
  13. It was in a work situation and the remarks were in passing. I'll ask him next time I see him, it was probably the only comeback that came to mind. He's actually quite a funny guy for a marron buffoon. I can actually have a good bit of banter with him and he's hurting at the moment and raging at Vlad. It was the other Jambo that was a bit disconcerting. I thought he was game for a laugh. A well. Sauce for the goose.......
  14. I wish I could write like you mate. Excellent as always. I can never get my head around how Whyte was able to do such damage, in such a short time. I feel such a fool at being conned. Hindsight is always 20/20, but doesn't make it any easier. For years the fans have been milked dry and no politicians are doing anything to address what happened. I have lost all faith in the political system. A dog maims a chils and legislation is put in place immediately. Banks bring the whole country to the brink and we are fleeced to keep them afloat. The worlds most successful football team is on the precipice and non of them could give a toss, because they are all cowards and frightned of losing votes.
  15. It’s been a good couple of weeks. After months of baiting, mocking, sarcasm and general all round abuse from work colleagues and so called friends. Keeping that British “stiff upper lip” and taking all that they threw at me, without resorting to violence. The days where I almost “snapped” and lost my temper, but kept my dignity intact, refused to rise to the bait and fought their bile with humour or just ignored them completely. Sound familiar? The tables have finally been turned and it’s been my turn to dish it out. “Jambo” baiting has been my personal favourite lately and I thought I would share a couple of encounters I had with fans of the Division 3 feeder club. A young supporter of “Mad Vlad’s” lads was passing by the day after David Templeton signed. At last! My chance to extract a little revenge for the sly comments and little smirks he had been having at my expense. I thought I’d start with a mild piece of sarcasm (you don’t want to use all the good stuff to begin with). “So you’ll be wearing blue from now on then pal. It’s great to be a Ranger, eh?” I had expected a little bit of humorous banter. What I got was a look of absolute disgust and anger, something muttered under the breath and off he stormed. Maybe it was a little bit too soon after the event for the poor soul. Then on to the next “moron in maroon” and a chance encounter at work on Saturday 8th September. “How are Rangers no playin the day” said he. Is it just in Fife we substitute how, for why? “International football on today mate” was my reply. “But yez ir a 3rd division outfit, how diz that affect yoo’s”. “We have Northern Ireland international players and also quite a few of the Scotland youngsters” I reminded him. The next part I didn’t expect. “Why dae ye no support yer local team?” Yep. That was the question. The Irony was totally lost on him. A Fifer, whose local team would likely be Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline, East Fife or Raith Rovers, is asking me why I am a Ranger, when he actively supports Hearts (SFL3 feeder club)! When on the question of “your local team”, how does one define this? Is it dependent upon your place of residence? So if you move from Liverpool to Manchester then you must switch allegiance? The other argument I hear is that it is dependent upon your place of birth. If that is true then I should be an Ipswich supporter (c’mon the tractor boys). Even though I have never been there since I was a few months old. Glasgow is far more local to me than Ipswich. Pity the poor Rangers supporting family, when the expectant mother goes into labour in the vicinity Park head in Glasgow. Utter nonsense. I digress. Back on topic, I hope you guys are enjoying this “payback” as much as I am. I feel confident there’s more to come. Savour it Bears! Revenge is a dish best served cold. It’s going to be a very VERY cold winter this year, I hear.
  16. Remember him scoring loads of headers in the first half of the 80/81 season (his first after coming to us from Partick I think). Especially remember a last minute equaliser at cappielow and two against THEM at my first Ibrox match against the bheasts. At corners and free kicks he would be positioned around the corner of the 18 yd box. The long cross to the back post would come in and he'd meet it around the 6yd and (as Archie McPherson would say) Woooof.
  17. LOUD NOISES! I DON'T KNOW WHY WE'RE SHOUTING!!
  18. What? Not Satarday? My fovouritist non-word is favouritist.
  19. I always wonder if finbar Muldoon haunts these boards. Iused to wind me up big style on the old 606 boards. Back on topic: D'Art my fav.
  20. Work shifts and have used up all my holiday entitlement by applying for holidays on match days at home. Dreading them changing more of our dates, as it will involve some serious begging to my boss.
  21. RTV will only be allowed to stream outside UK. Hopefully someone overseas will provide a live stream.
  22. No. I will still attend Ibrox and will still purchase my season ticket. No more away games though. My last visit to the glitterdome was December last year. I can still smell it.
  23. Look on the bright side. When the scum are drawn to play at Ibrox, it's an extra ticket for someone else who would love to experience the atmosphere. No matter how much they pollute it.
  24. Then I am deluded. To me a boycott of Ibrox would entail me never attending again. I will attend every home league fixture and cup matches against non SPL clubs, Dunfermline and Raith excepted. After the months of anguish I promised that I would never give a penny to these clubs. I am prepared to pay the ticket price to Rangers in other ways. I keep my promises. My choice.
  25. I know i'm in a minority, but it isn't boycotting Ibrox. I would be willing to pay money direct to the club in another way. I do not hate other clubs more than I love Rangers, but a stand needs to be taken and a line drawn in the sand. It's about not giving Motherwell £300K for a full Ibrox. A club who's supporters have gloated and voted for "sporting integrity" and have helped kick us. How many fans (if any) will they bring? So we bail them out financially and they sit and laugh. We'll be hearing the same calls when we're drawn against an SPhelL club away. We will get part of the gate, the team needs us etc etc. My choice and I stand by it. Sorry if that offends my brethren.
