  1. Not defending the little judas, but would imagine predictive text on mobile would auto capitalise Wednesday as being a day of the week. Still doesn't excuse the little rat barsteward though.
  2. if he was anything like I was, it wasn't a time for reasoned thought. I joined at same time, ny thoughts on the £10 were for running costs and administration and organisation for the defence of the club. Why can't it become such? If all joined and chose leaders from within, that would be a strong group fighting for our club. Fighting against haters though, not our brethren in other groups. I really hope for true unity.
  3. Done exactly the same thing myself. Joined up without knowing anything about them really, it was when the saverangers campaign started. Just felt like I had to try everything to save the club. I'm still pretty much ignorant of all the personal agendas going about. My only interest is Rangers.
  4. When I registered my interest I noticed I was around #18500. Assuming they started at #1 and that everyone is at £500. We'll be at almost the £10M mark already. Not accurate I know, but encouraging.
  5. Agree and totally understand. I'm in the lucky situation where I can afford to "write off" that amount if things aren't as we would hope. One thing I had mentioned in posts a while back, was a monthly payment plan. Where fans could put in £5, £10, £20 etc. /month and plough money into Rangers. Many of us wouldn't miss such a small amount leaving our account evry month. But multiply that by thousands and you get a steady income stream into the club.
  6. If you were CEO of Rangers, then yes mate. I have decided to go in for the £500. I don't say invest, as I don't expect anything back. I'm willing to take the risk and back CG.
  7. Just checked my fixture list on the iPhone and made a right pigs ear of it. Had us Down to play Clyde at home on the 20th of this month.
  8. I don't know if I should be flattered or offended
  9. Can just imagine the visitors dressing room at Ibrox for our match vs Clyde Duffy: right guys. Kit check. Machete? Team: check! Duffy: knuckle dusters? Team: check! Duffy: pistol? Team: check! Duffy: right. Let's do these ********. First five minutes and Black is bludgeoned to the ground. Big Lee screams at the ref and is booked for unsporting behaviour and Black booked for simulation.
  10. Why can't we all be on the same side and just get along? Our support reminds me of Harry Enfield's "Scousers" at times. We're always so busy fighting each other, we never see the real enemy plunging their daggers into our backs.
  11. The other galling part was that this happened in the second half and after Alexander was victim to a seperate incident, which also merited a straight red imo Said it in posts right from the off in this division. I fear for our players this season. I just hope a career ending injury isn't the result.
  12. Reply by Captainofindustry Sorry, that's where I stop reading every time. Same old anti- Ally.
  13. Plural of stadium is stadia. Just saying like.
  14. I am one of the ones who has already been practicing this. I refused to attend our last match Vs Motherwell. I have to admit though, that I was wrong. I watched on TV and wished I was there in person. The only hurt was to myself. So I admit I was wrong on staying away from Ibrox and letting my bitterness get the better of me, but I am all for this boycott and I stand by my refusal to go to any of the spl shitholes. Let's do this.
  15. I must admit to feeling somewhat duped by the politicos. I returned to Scotland a few years back to look after a member of my family. One of my first post on these forums commented on how I was starting to lean towards the idea of an independant Scotland. The SNP seemed to be doing ok in my eyes. They had abolished bridge tolls and prescription charges, which had put quite a bit of money back in my pocket. As you will notice, I am from Fife and all my forefathers were miners. What was done to that industry and many others in the 80's, has left me with a deep hatred and distrust of the Tories. I had joined the Labour bandwagon in the 90's and had canvassed for a local candidate in Essex, during the time of John Smith. I guess what i'm trying to say is that I have no affinity with any political party and had been warming to the nationalists. What has happened to my club though, has deeply scarred and angered me. The cowardice of all the politicians in this fiasco, is staggering. No-one has had the courage to speak out, for fear of losing votes. The Unionists parties could probably do their cause quite a bit of good, if they made some waves on this, for as it stands, I won't be voting again in the near future, unless someone speaks up for the Rangers.
  16. A win is a win. Look at last years tournament. Who won that? Some feeder club I believe. I remember the beamers they had after their fist match in that competition. Hearts (SFL3 feeder club) 1 - 0 Auchinleck Talbot. If memory serves right too, Talbot should have scored an equaliser at the death, to take it to a replay. Perspective people!
  17. Does that take into account "no mans land " though? You're always going to have the section either side of away fans unoccupied I'd think.
  18. Why should it be so "far fetched". Once we had ambitions of playing with the big English clubs. Their fans, rightly or wrongly, branded our football as "Mickey Mouse". Our argument was always that our fan base and earning potential would enable us to sign high profile players, which in turn would make us more competative and that in a short time, we would be challenging for titles. Why not ally with Northern Ireland? Pooling our resources, adding a new dimension to our game. It doesn't necessarily mean our standard of play will drop, but that teams such as Linfield improve. Others may join with us. Look at how we are enjoying this new adventure this season. That journey will be complete in a few short years and then we are back to the old rivalry of the SPhelL (if it hasn't died by that time) and the bloodbath that will bring. Too much has happened for all that hatred to have subsided. Our enemies still want to hurt us, but our desire for revenge is strong and if my feelings are anything to go by, we shall have that vengeance. I can see no way we can reconcile our differences and there needs to be radical change. I don't know if the OP has the solution, but something must be done.
  19. Anyone who gives money to the clubs that tried to kill us, isn't a true Rangers fan. See how easy it is to make a judgemental statement? That isn't really my view, but I respect every fans right to make their own choice. But getting increasingly pussed off ar being branded a traitor, when I am standing up for and financing my team to the best of my ability, but have sworn never to give money again to our enemies. How dare you accuse me of not being a Rangers fan.
  20. Heard all this bull a few times this year. I bought my season ticket to se Rangers. End of. That it sends a "GIRFUY" to everyone else, is a bonus, not the reason.
  21. Clyde Cup final last year. Penalties at Copland Rd end.
