Got some info from a vey good source....: Rangers have agreed new retail deal with Fanatics based in Manchester (formerly Kitbag). I believe they will run online retail and be responsible for producing product as well as store at the ground. They also currently run Man Utd, Man City, Everton and Aston Villa's online shop (and Celtics)Also F1 and Wimbledon tennis but Man Utd, celtic and Wimbledon moving away from them

also have it on good authority that Puma are reluctant to renew the kit deal(good news) and the club have an offer on the table from Admiral (bad news)

Sorry but i dont believe you.

  4. I used to work in the old Xs Superbowl in paisley and a bunch of tims used to come in and watch the footie and generally give me stick when lovenkrands scored that last minute goal i didnt hold back. Next season we did the Treble was even better.

Hi mate if you go onto http://www.footyheadlines.com/?m=1 they show all the leaked images of next seasons kit. There isnt 1 of Rangers yet but there is 1s of Arsenal and Dortmund so it gives you an idea of the template puma will be using next term.

There is no doubt Warburtons signings haven't taken us forward - for a variety of reasons. Injury to Kranjcar, Crooks, Windass, The Barton situation, Garner being pish. Some of them were obviously "signings for the future" in Windass, Dodoo and Crooks,  whereas others were expected to do an almost immediate job - such as Krancjar, Barton and Garner.  We also hoped that some of our squad from last year would really step up  - (and certainly some should have been given the chance at least) - Waghorn, McKay, Tav etc. They have been given the chance - but very few - if any - actually have. So we find ourselves in a position where the signings have been poor and the previous players are struggling at this level.

So lets play "the blame game".

    • Do I blame MW for being loyal and giving some of the current squad a chance to see if they can hack it in the premiership? No. he had no choice. He couldn't change an entire squad so these players had to be given a chance. They won the Championship. They deserved the chance at least.
    • Do I blame MW for the injury situation - well of course not - shit happens
    • Do I blame MW for signing for the future players such as Windass and Crooks? No. These signing seem a prudent investment. Windass in particular looks like he will become a player for us. And the negligible investment is worth the risk.
    • Do I blame MW for making some poor signings? Yes. It didn't take a crystal ball to see Barton always had the potential to be a problem. A relatively inexperienced manager should have stayed well clear. Garner isn't a player. And dont give me the "he needs service" excuse. He got service yesterday and was still truly rubbish. He also pinned too much on getting Kranjcar fit and when that fell through he was stuffed. The only positives I take from these signings are that MW seen that he needed a defensive midfielder, a creative midfielder and a goal scorer. He picked the wrong trio though to fill those roles.
    • Do I blame MW for being way too inflexible with his team selection? Yes. 4-3-3 against some teams is fine. Against others its risky. So adapt. Have a plan B. (I fucking hate that phrase - but its pertinent).
    • Do I blame MW for not shoring up the defense? Yes. The defense has been an issue for over a year. he needs to make us harder to score against. The Senderos situation was an embarrassment. He left it too late or did not put enough importance on the defence. This was a major failing

So what we are left with is essentially a Championship squad competing in the Premiership with a manager hoping that they can turn on a show. With that scenario performances like yesterday are always on the cards and we will no doubt throw in a few more like that before the end of the season if things dont change.

So where do we go now?

    • MW must starting cutting the dead wood from the squad immediately. The guys that aren't up to it should be replaced as soon as . They have had their chance: they have failed.
    • He must start making signings that enhance the quality in the team. He must stop being loyal to mediocrity.
    • We are not going to win the league this year. We should not be signing 38 year olds who will "do a job" for this season, but make sure we sign players that are not stop gaps.
    • Unless we do start signing quality we need to stop with the 4-3-3 gung ho approach until the forward line starts firing again. Games can be won 1-0. Its still 3 points.
    •  The defence is a still a major issue and the lack of defensive quality  has been a major problem for 12 months now. We keep leaking stupid goals. This needs addressed in January as a priority. The sad thing is we all said this LAST year.

Its not all MW's fault - but a lot of it is.  I'll be happy to give MW till the end of the season to see if he can extricate himself from some of the holes he has dug. He is an intelligent man - but he has to LEARN and learn quickly. We have to see progress in the areas mentioned above. If he cant do this, then he isn't the man for us, I am afraid.

Good read, cant argue with that.
