Now it’s confirmed they’ll both be leaving on a free hopefully we can make a small offer to get them in this month and Kilmarnock and Dundee will accept thinking along the lines it’s better to get anything for them rather than nothing especially when they’re going to need to get replacements in!

It all depends if Kilmarnock and Dundee see their absence as the difference between Europe/no Europe amnd relegation/safety.

  2. Trying to see the positives in this - more chance of euro league matches into december and even win this trophy.

I thought when I read this that it was allowing more teams into Europe until I realised it was just the Europa league being split. No chance Europa League II will get anything like Europa League I money.

Rangers are a Champions/Europa League team in a Europa League 2 nation. We're always going to be dragged down by the crap teams below us going out in the first or second qualifying round.

What makes you think that mate?

If they make as much money as they claim from this euro super league, their second string teams would probably still challenge for the EPL. Good for them as it keeps their second choices busy. I am not saying it would happen, but that these exiting teams would try and put it on the negotiating table.

Morelos was lucky that coin didn’t ricochet onto a St Mirren fan or player as it would have been deemed an instant red,

If Morelos had pocketed the coin and given the thumbs up to his benefactor, Collum probably would have sent him off.

Are you honestly saying that the coin came out of his shorts ??? hes hardly going to have cash stashed away whilst playing in a match ffs.

Porbbaly had some shrapnel ready to throw back if he got one in the eye.

  6. I started going in 1980. The crowds were dire compared to today even though it was cheaper, couple of quid I think. There was a bad recession during the early 80s though that doesn't explain it all as the credit crunch we had a few years back did not affect attendances.

  7. I have complained to the BBC before about this and got some anodyne reply. I was driving up from England yesterday afternoon hoping to hear the Rangers-Hearts game but just knew it would be the Tims with occassional updates from Ibrox.
