Premier sports also have the pro 14 rugby but I still refuse to shell out for their awful coverage.
I shelled out for the Progress Niedercorn tie, worst £10 ever spent.

Premier Sports now showing Cowdenbeath and Kilmarnock cup ties in the space of one month's subscription. Looks tasty at £9.99.
-
Totally frustrating but we still won cups - unlike the current run since 2012. That said, it made the title under Souness all the sweeter and exciting, just as the next one will.

Now it’s confirmed they’ll both be leaving on a free hopefully we can make a small offer to get them in this month and Kilmarnock and Dundee will accept thinking along the lines it’s better to get anything for them rather than nothing especially when they’re going to need to get replacements in!
It all depends if Kilmarnock and Dundee see their absence as the difference between Europe/no Europe amnd relegation/safety.

Trying to see the positives in this - more chance of euro league matches into december and even win this trophy.
I thought when I read this that it was allowing more teams into Europe until I realised it was just the Europa league being split. No chance Europa League II will get anything like Europa League I money.
Rangers are a Champions/Europa League team in a Europa League 2 nation. We're always going to be dragged down by the crap teams below us going out in the first or second qualifying round.
-
I thinik squad depth is and will be important - we have lost some to medium and long term injuries but have still soldiered on. Look at what happened to Hearts when their thin squad lost Naismith and others.
-
So BT have lost Italian and Scottish football. That leaves Champions and Europa leagues with no change in price. Hmmm.

What makes you think that mate?
If they make as much money as they claim from this euro super league, their second string teams would probably still challenge for the EPL. Good for them as it keeps their second choices busy. I am not saying it would happen, but that these exiting teams would try and put it on the negotiating table.
-
We'll see, though if this super league happened, the exiting english teams may try and punt their second string teams into the English league.

Okay. lets say this goes ahead, Sky Sports loses Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool from their prize product, will they invite Rangers and celtic to salvage it in some way?

Morelos was lucky that coin didn’t ricochet onto a St Mirren fan or player as it would have been deemed an instant red,
If Morelos had pocketed the coin and given the thumbs up to his benefactor, Collum probably would have sent him off.

Are you honestly saying that the coin came out of his shorts ??? hes hardly going to have cash stashed away whilst playing in a match ffs.
Porbbaly had some shrapnel ready to throw back if he got one in the eye.

As i said elsewhere, too often Aberdeen players got between the Rangers player and the ball for a clearance. Total lack of mobility to create space.
Having said that, it only takes one goal to force them to come out and the whole sitting deep plan crumbles.

Meh, prefer to do it our way. The Tims dropped into the Europa 32 last year purely on Anderlecht sacking their manager. Not the Rangers way, we can beat Spartak with or without their manager.

I started going in 1980. The crowds were dire compared to today even though it was cheaper, couple of quid I think. There was a bad recession during the early 80s though that doesn't explain it all as the credit crunch we had a few years back did not affect attendances.
-
I have complained to the BBC before about this and got some anodyne reply. I was driving up from England yesterday afternoon hoping to hear the Rangers-Hearts game but just knew it would be the Tims with occassional updates from Ibrox.

There are some hand wringers on this forum, you'd think we were losing 0-5 reading the comments before the penalty. I guess you do indeed call it passion.

And he managed to keep the heid last night .. one of his best performances.

I thought that was going to be the toughest of all the six games. Actually I'm hoping that was the toughest match!

Was on his bus in the early 80s, always had a joke ... "we are, we are we are ... the KP Loyal!"
(or was it KP Derry, can't remember now)

BBC Sport ran some stats showing that English EPL clubs did improve their points per game if manager was sacked during the Oct/Nov manager-go-round.
So St Mirren may well improve points wise from now on, though that doesn't guarantee staying up.

Qualifying for the Europa League was more important for me this time round. It is worth millions to Rangers and will fuel further investment into a winning team. celtic can spend twice as much on players, this need patience not knee jerk reactions.

So how were you expecting to witn the title from a team which has twice the player budget?
I hope we win the title, but that is different from expecting it.

Murphy replacement?
That second half performance
in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom

Dreadful second half, almost matched by a dreadful refereeing performance.
