I suppose I'll take that considering, but Rangers have no consistency just now.

I thought Rangers would be seeded and therefore 2nd leg at home - better for celtic game three days later?

Can someone tell me how much debt the club has or needs to clear given this CL exit?
I thought a fair amount had been converted into shares?

Here's the prize money for the 2021-22 European competitions.

Even if we just won one game in the CL it would still generate about £10M more than a good Europa league campaign. I don't know how TV is sorted.
The new Conference league monies are about 25% less than the Europa but since the teams are weaker, a team like Rangers could sweep up 25% more points to balance out.

This is not the Rangers of last season.

I would hope any "just turn up" complacency from Rangers has now vanished.

All I am concerned about just now is getting past Malmo. I had stated after the first leg, Gerrard should have avoided so many changes from Livingston. Even though we lost to Dundee Utd, he should try and stick to as consistent a line up as possible. Yes, MacGregor back and maybe Hagi, the team needs to re-gel for the season asap.

2004 and 2007.
Hearts got Basel, Feyenoord, Schalke and Ferencváros.
Aberdeen got Atlético, Panathinaikos, Copenhagen and Lokomotiv Moscow
I see Aberdeen even got out of the group, Rangers marched past them all the way to the final. :)

Hearts and Aberdeen have qualified for the old UEFA Cup group stage.
When was that?

Scotland might yet see a non-OF team in a group stage campaign. Always looked near impossible.

Is it no after the end of the season?
TBH no 100% sure
Aye well, I suppose the club can take out short term loans against them being paid at a future date.

Question for me is do we sell players and put at risk this year's possible champions league money and the guaranteed 20-30 million sheckles if we win the league and get automatic group stage admission.
Make no mistake the mhanky mob will strengthen.
How much influence will whether or not we qualify for the group stages of champions league or Europa league have, would be interesting to know.
Ideally we keep them all, but Gerrard and the board have to find a balance somewhere. If we can keep the team together for another 3 weeks and get to the CL group, that gives us a cash bonanza with which we can strengthen the squad in the winter window (when does UEFA pay out group stage cash?).

I had bigger hopes for Itten than Roofe before last season, but he hasn't yet earned that first XI status.
StevieG has obviously played him more in the friendlies to get him up to speed in the absence of Morelos and Roofe for Europe, but he hasn't stepped up. If we have CL ambitions, we need Morelos in for Malmo/Olympiakos/Ludogrets.
i can understand the board needing to sell, but if Morelos can help us to the CL group stage, I can accept him going thereafter, though the 2nd leg play off tie is only a week before the window closes?

Hopefully the lovely neutral council will give full permission for a full stadium after covid restrictions eased. After all, we fixed their benches, didn't we!

A poor performance, but thank goodness for Davis. Ours still to win.

They’ll be broadcasting the league cup this year as well.
Understand you cancelling if you go home and away, mind.
Yes, fortunately for Premier, the time between league cup games is more than a subscription month, so you can't get two cup games in one month's payment.

They added Premier Sports and Boxnation together, hence the increase.
Thanks, can't say I am thrilled getting a boxing channel.

Buy it in RTV mate. Can’t believe folk are giving Premier Sports their money instead of Rangers
How much are those three games with RTV?
-
Signed up to Premier Sports for the two games plus the league cup game.
They've punted the price from £9.99 pm to £12.99! So as soon as I subscribed I told the operator to unsubscribe me as it is 30 days notice - long enough for the 3 games. :)

This Jablonec side must be as good as Midtjylland.

Haven't been so confident for a season for decades.

PLG was pretty good in Europe from what I remember.
I was thinking more of the 7 months Le Guen lasted ....

Tell you what. That manager they have brought in is an absolute haddy.
He was completely lost on the sidelines. He was standing there like McCoist when his time was coming to an end. Literally no instructions to the players.
Hardly surprising given that absolutely dog muck team from Denmark was probably the best club team he has ever managed against.
I have genuinely never felt as confident before a league season kicked off. Hopefully that statement does not come back to bite me on the arse.
Well, they will have their millions from Ajer, Eduardo, etc. So they will sign new players and we must take the position they will improve. All depends really how good this Aussie guy is at recruiting. Probably blow the money on Japs and Aussies.
