  1. To be honest I think there's a good chance this could happen now. Team 12 has been left suspiciously empty through all this. If they do re-vote I hope Green see's the position they are in and veto's any sanctions. Bottom line is its a game of chicken and by even having a re-vote they'd be blinking first...advantage Rangers.
  2. It really is amazing how fucking dumb they they. They don't seem to realise there will be zero fucking interest in the SPL next season and that as of right now (should Rangers indeed be in Div 3 next season and there isn't another twist in the tale) they are living outwith their means which means either they have to get into debt to maintain their current squad OR they have to qualify for the CL group stages which lets face it has almost zero chance of happening. The rot wont kick in until Jan/Feb once they have been thoroughly pumped out of europe. Do they really think they are going to fill the san giro every other week people turning up to see a league thats already over against opposition who are on their arse because they are fucked financially? They'll all be calling for Lemons head but who do they replace that cunt with? They will have no choice but to either go for broke and spend money they dont have chasing the CL dream or they cut their cloth to measure which means they get worse which means less fans turning up and so the rot will kick in in earnest. Be careful what you wish for timmy.
  3. The Mhanks in particular are even more diluded and hilarious. The seem to be under the impression that: 1. Losing Rangers will result in only losing 4 million a year, a sum that can easily be made up in CL group stage 2. That they live off of what they earn from the fans. 3. That this will herald a new era of mhank domination that by the time we get back into the SPL they will be so far ahead we'll never catch them up. I almost feel sorry for them....almost What they don't seem to realise is that losing Rangers means a lot more than just losing the gate receipts for old firm matches. Sky will renegotiate a substantially reduced TV deal that they will receive less of now the other 11 teams can out vote them, which they will be even more keen to do now with facing the black hole in their finances. That the other 11 teams will have reduced resources through budget cutting meaning the league will get even more dire. That the league being over by November is not a good thing in any way shape or form I mean who the fuck is going to watch a septic game now except them? No cunt thats who. They also seem to forget that they are a PLC and any profit they start to make will be wandering out the door to shareholders as they will inevitably be forced to cut costs themselves. Och well nothing left to do but kick back and enjoy the chaos. And in the words of the joker.."you know the thing about chaos? It's fair".
  4. Remind me again how Rhegan can walk the streets without bodyguards?
  5. Yes 3 years from now we'll just be getting back into the SPL (if it still exists) but with what team? We'll certainly not be marching back into the top league with a team capable of winning it which means we might struggle to get into europe. 1st season in the SPL he'll need to spend the money to get a team capable of not only finishing 2nd but also of qualifying for the group stages of the europa league. So you are talking season 5 at least before we'd be profitable for sell and he'll need to re-coup all the money he's spent in the mean while, meaning a higher asking price.
  6. I don't think he'll have expected quite the kangaroo court that he's encountered in scotland. In england Rangers would have been docked 10 points and told to get on with it.
  7. This isn't an anti-Green thread. Bottom line is he's a business man, is he prepared to see out a 6-7 year plan rather than a 2-3 year plan? It's a valid question to ask because he certainly didn't buy us for love of the club.
  8. Because 25 out of 30 clubs from the SFL voted for Rangers to start in the 3rd division. Do you really think they will sit idly by and watch Rhegan and Doncaster go "actually no we're just going to do what we want to do anyway" and create a micky-mouse SPL 2?
  9. Hope so because it will be the only old firm games the cunts from the SPL will be seeing for a while.
  10. Where is Walter and Co now? If Green got out of theis with a 1 million pound loss I think he'd think himself fortunate.
  11. ...didn't pay off. He bought the club in the true spirit of entrepreneurism, getting all the assets for an absolute steal. He was probably dead sure that as an investment, Rangers FC with a large established fanbase would be a sure fire thing. Buy the club, get them playing football again at a decent standard and then sell to the highest bidder leaving the club in a much better state than what he's found it. It wasn't a bad plan because after all we're a big fish in a small pond and countribute somewhere in the region of 30-40% of the total revenue of the SPL so it would be extreme folly to throw the baby out with the bath water and banish Rangers... What he didn't gamble on though was just how inept, small minded and ludicrous the Scottish game and its custodians are. That not only would they cut their noses off to spite their face, they'd use a chainsaw to do it. The sheer stupidity and arrogance of the likes of King Rat Rhegan and his Donkey friend that they thought they could bully the directors of SFL clubs who lets face it are hardly in it for the money unlike their snivelling SPL counterparts, approaches a level rarely seen outside of a tin pot dictatorship. So what now for Green? His plan is in tatters and his investment doesn't seem so sure fire any more. His last desperate hope is for the SPL and SFA to push through a half baked SPL 2 and cook the books or perhaps for the SPL to re-vote and accept Rangers back into the SPL with the sanctions Green will be more than happy to accept. But I don't think any of that can happen now, pandora's box has been opened and what came out cannot be put back. Any attempt now to shoe horn Rangers anywhere other than the 3rd division I believe would see all out anarchy and the end of the Scottish game as we know it. What would reform from the rubble is anyones guess. Green needs to make a decision, sell now OR wait for his fairy rat father to cook the books OR he joins Rangers on their journey up through the leagues of scotland. Where do we go from here bears?
  12. I think you miss out Lloyds culpability in this mess also. There were numerous touted buyers who wanted to buy Rangers and service the debt but Lloyds wanted their money up front and were ultimately instrumental in forcing the Whyte bid through.
  13. I think its as a sign of solidarity to encourage the other teams not to bottle it. If they all kept their vote to themselves then they all might think 'well everyone else will probably cave in, so I'll vote for Rangers in div 1'. But coming out publically the undecided/anxious voters will be bolstered by it.
  14. You should edit the topic title as it reads as there are 17-2 in favour of Div 1. Other than that I think King Rat Rhegan may have underestimated his ability to bully the directors of SFL teams.
  15. I can see the OP's point. Rangers in div 3 is the equivalent of no Rangers at all so I could imagine king rat rhegan pulling a stroke like that. However if he did he'd need to book a one way plane ticket to somewhere very very far away.
  16. I can't imagine even him being mental enough to try and take Rangers into england without the stadium. I mean in terms of distance its easier for fans from Manchester to get here than to get to london. I'm torn on the stadium though, if it weren't a listed building (and rather striking) we'd have demolished it and built a bigger on by now (bit of a contraversial statement that).
  17. I wonder who typed it for him after he'd written it in crayon? The only Hibs fan that can read and write anthe only Hibs fan with a computer finally got it together.
  18. I don't really see how this would work anyway as its a catch 22. Don't you need to give 3 years notice of quitting the SPL or SFA to move to a different league. Rangers oldco would still need to do this, unless it could be argued that replacing us with team 12 we're already out. Even if this is for real and even if it were a possibility, english premier league will tell us no way and I doubt the football league would be that interested. Still, is good if it gets the rest of the scumbags in scottish football sweating at the thought out it.
  19. I'm not being funny but..and not advocating violence (mods) but why hasn't Rhegan been 'coerced' into not turning up for work? I mean if I were that guy I'd be watching my back big style, would be afraid to walk the streets.
  20. Because this is turning into a bit of a horror story for king rat rhegan and his donkey friend. When I saw the leaked letter about Rangers being voted into the 3rd division but the Board moving them to the 1st once they got bought off by the SPL I thought that basically was it. That corruption and backhanders and relentless pressure would gaurentee that Rangers play 1st Division football next season. But have we underestimated the SFL chairmen? They don't seem to like being bullied in this way.
